Super cozy apartment with a perfect balcony. We and the dogs were surrounded by cats and chickens. The rooster woke us up every morning to a perfect start to the day. The mornings, as well as the evenings, on the balcony were the icing on the cake. Marijana is an easy-going host, and the neighborhood is very friendly. Love it!

We loved the location- it’s close to the ferry port but far enough down the path to offer better views of the bay. And so quiet. Comfortable bed. An accommodating and well majored host Marion let us leave our bags before and after check out, which enabled us to see more of the island on our travel day. Would highly recommend getting e-bikes to tour everywhere. This is a fantastic home base for 1 day or 7.

Kozarica is a hidden gem on the mystical island of Mljet, off the main road about halfway between the ferry port of Sobra and Mljet NP. It gets very few visitors and you can take a short walk to a wonderful beach nearby (see photo). We selected the simplest room and it was indeed simple, but we could sit right out front and enjoy amazing views over Mljet Strait and the karst mountains of Peljesac Peninsula beyond. This was a comfortable place to stay while exploring the unique island of Mljet.

This nice roomy and clean apartment was exactly what we expected. We communicated in English with a relative of the host and that worked perfectly. The host was very kind despite the lack of a common language and she offered us tomatoes and almonds from the garden :)

    We liked the apartment and its location in a quiet authentic...

    We liked the apartment and its location in a quiet authentic village setting, surrounded by olive and pomegranate trees and overlooking a forest. The host Marija was very forthcoming and kind, going out of her way to make us feel good. The apartment was clean and cosy with a fair amount of kitchen utensils, beds were comfortable. The location is somewhat remote from places of interest on the island, meaning that you have to drive everywhere, which was not a problem for us.
