Warm welcome, arrived a few hours early, but no problem. Given a choice of apartments, both overlooking the bay. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to leave luggage while we hiked the next day before taking ferry back to Dubrovnik.

Mihaela and Tonci were excellent and friendly hosts. They assisted us with our requests and were very approachable. The apartment was incredible with beautiful views and excellent amenities. We would come back over and over again.

Great location, next to the seaside, in the heart of charming Sobra village. The place is huge and the view from the room I was in is spectacular. Unfortunately, we were there for 3 days only, but this apartment seems suitable for longer stays as it offers everything you could wish for. There are two bathrooms, one in each floor, which is super handy if there are more people. There was a bottle of locally-produced olive oil in the kitchen, which you can freely use, and then buy some more if you want. We did just that, and I can highly recommend it, it's a really good oil.

Marijana was a perfect host, offered me a coffee on arrival, showed me the place, helped with other things I needed and was so friendly and inviting. The area of this is beautiful, can easily hike to Veliki grad and Odysseus cave, no issues with finding it or parking. Lovely quiet place, the people in surrounding areas very friendly. Everything I needed inside the cave too. Great recommendation for the pizza place up the road, best pizza ever. For those who may not like cats, the cats are well fed and looked after and do not bother you at all, the cats and chickens are very funny to watch. The roosters can be loud sometimes in the morning but if it woke me I was easily able to go back to sleep. Absolutely loved this place I’d love to come back.

Nice small village with 2-3 places to eat.

Nice small village with 2-3 places to eat. Great view to the sea and private beaches for those staying near the sea. It's easy to get to other visiting spots on the island because the roads are in good shape. Nice people living in there.

A quiet seaside village with gorgeous clear water to swim in...

A quiet seaside village with gorgeous clear water to swim in, and a fifteen minute walk away is a little beach with turquoise clear water. A short drive away is a National Park. There is a lovely restaurant in Sobra, called Lanterna, that is right by the water and serves delicious seafood, and the best spaghetti marinara we have ever had! Very special.

Sobra is tiny and suitable for people wanting an...

Sobra is tiny and suitable for people wanting an exceptionally quiet holiday, or who have a car or bike to get about & see more of Mljet. It has two restaurants and a sandwich shop and a very small mini mart with extremely limited stock (eg no eggs or hard cheese the week we were there). The restaurants are fine- one is predominantly pizzas and the other has a good choice. There are some walks out of Sobra if you’re ok with very hilly terrain and rough underfoot.

This is paradise – modern stylish rooms, lots of space, beautiful seating areas overlooking the bay, sunbeds on the shore where you can have a refreshing swim. The host is also very nice and helpful – good communication and easy check-in. Ideal base to discover Mljet, as Sobra is located in the middle of the island. Only 2km from the ferry from Peljesac. Sobra has two restaurants, one take-away and a small supermarket.

The location of the property is fabulous - beautiful view out into the bay at Sobra. There is air conditioning, which we needed this week, and plenty of space. Two sofas, nice kitchen area and bathroom - everything we needed. Also well stocked supermarket a few metres down the road. And Anita is a fabulous host - really quick to respond and so helpful.

A very new, clean and complete apartment. Althout the most impressive thing is its wonderful views over the Bay of Sobra. Marija is a very kind woman and she offered us upon our arrival a delicious homemade sweet and white wine from her own harvest. Be grateful
