The Hotel Vicko is located close to the beach in Starigrad Paklenica and features a restaurant serving tasty local and international cuisine, a supermarket, a free guarded car park and free bike... Everything overall was wonderful but they really need to try & get rid of the stale tobacco smell in the hallways. That was truly the only bothersome part.

Very nice hotel, great pool and beach, super friendly stuff, great rooms, loved the bathroom with walk in shower, loved the balcony, great and comfortable beds.

Camp houses are just simply amazing! Kinda like luxury camping experience but without it being too expensive. Staff was always there to help and answer questions with really kind and pleasant attitude.

Amazing personnel (especially gospođa Josipa), great location, nice beach, great view from the room, parking loots always available. The place has a bit of a "Yugoslavian nostalgic feel" which we loved.

Featuring garden views, Apartman Đani provides accommodations with a balcony and a coffee machine, around 5.9 miles from Paklenica National Park. First and foremost, the host family were the loveliest and kindest people we've ever had as hosts. And we've stayed at a bunch of places throughout Europe. The place was very well maintained, and clean. Hot water, and water pressure in sink and shower were optimal. Kitchenette was well-equipped, with pots, plates, cutlery, coffee maker, tea kettle, coffee, sugar, salt, etc. Mini fridge included. We cooked one night and ate at the table located on our private terrace overlooking the calm waters of the adriatic sea. There are great places to visit around the are if you're driving. I also took my SUP board with me and paddled in the sound/bay easily.

Starigrad Paklenica is an interesting blend between sea and mountain, a place like no other.. You can enjoy what the sea has to offer you, boat trips, snorkeling, etc, and furthermore, having a nice hike in the mountains, maybe climbing up the walls in the National Park, where you can find the climb experts waiting to teach you how to safely walk up the walls... You can really find here good food, nice people and beautiful places like Vecka Kula Beach, Riviera Paklenica, Velebit National Park, Cernovac Caves and the rest of them, I invite you to discover yourself traveller..

Hated that Booking did not state that our Apartment was next to a late night dance club. Wanted a quite stay in a quiet place next to the sea but was rudely kept up late into the night. When I want a party Vacation I may come back to Starigrad Paklenica, but unfortunately this trip was for peace and quiet so I would avoid Starigrad Paklenica for those who want a Peaceful and Elegant Croatian trip down the Jadranska Magistrala.

You have mountains (hiking) and the seaside (swimming) in the same location. Nearby it's a natural park Paklenica well worth visiting. The main road wasn't too busy so the place is quiet enough.

The city is without any historic center. It riminded me more of a typical Spanish tourist resorts, which is a reason I do not go for holiday to Spain but to Croatia. This is not a typical historic small Croatian town like Stari Grad on Hvar, otok Rab or bigger cities.

Great place for hikers, climbers and nature lovers. Small and calm town/ village close to NP Paklenica. Perfect opportunity for all those who want to avoid crowds and wish to experience Croatia in a bit different way (hiking tours or climbing instead of spending time on the beach).

It was the corona season, so not overcrowded by tourists on the beach. Everything worked (shops, restaurants, bars etc). As always, Starigrad is near a big mountain and a national park where you can go hiking and rock climbing + cycling or MTB-ing. But negative part of it is that because of the wind from the mountain + underwater streams, the sea can be rather cold. It's a good place for families, for long walks...

Around 3 km from the highway, right next to the sea, with great restaurants, markets and bakery nearby. The host was wonderful! She was very sweet And helpful, she welcomed us with delicious fresh figs. She also brought some toys for our son! Room was big and had more equipment than we actually needed. Everything for the really low price! Will be back for sure! Highly recommended!

We also used the pool and jacuzzi which completed perfectly our day after climbing. I highly reccomend this accomodation. 10/10 and 5stars rating for us! The best place we stayed in during our trip through Croatia :)

He helped me when my booking for the next Night needed to get changed and I didn't have a phone to call. We shared snacks together and lots of smiles. It is very quiet place with minimum of other people. Which is quiet precious in Croatia. The view from the balcony is great although covered a little by the tree but it got us a shadow during the day, so we appreciate it.

The water is steps away from the hotel, the parking was on site, the restaurant had delicious food and ice cream. The staff was super friendly. Paklencia NP is few minutes away by car, Plitvice is little over an hour, and Krka is 45 minutes. Lovely place to set up camp!

The hotel area is huge and that makes it feel not as crowded. The breakfast is great (although the jams and the coffee could be improved significantly). The beach area is nice and there are a lot of activities and sports (e.g. mini golf). The spa was nice and included in the price. The sun beds by the beach are available.
