A nice town in the vicinity of Zadar, easily accessible by car AND has its own charms - so if you're only looking for a place to sleep near the bigger city, think again: Sukošan is worth checking out, especially some areas like the harbour near the town centre, and the luxurious Marina Dalmacija nearby. Sukosan is a small seaside village near Zadar, picturesque with lively buzz. I was lucky to be there with my friend on Thursday evening, when the main square is echoing with live music performance. We had dinner in the local restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. Sukosan is beautiful.
Sukosan is beautiful. Our accommodation was so near the waterfront and our balcony had lovely views of the sunset. The town is perfect with a lovely atmosphere and not too busy. Everything we were looking for and a great base for travelling to the nearby areas. We even had a ride on the tourist road train one evening. Wonderful!Guest review byJill

We highly recommend this apartment and its owners who are very kind and helpful. Everything was even prettier than in the pictures. The apartament is big, new, clean and modern designed. There is a lot of good equipment such as air condition, washing machines and things to prepare the food by yourself. Perfect location close to shops and centre. Nice big garden with sunbeds, kayaks, paddleboard and even bikes was a plus.
