it was my second visit paid to Trogir. It is tiny and lovely ancient town, which can offer much to tourists nowadays . As for me it is more pleasant in comparison to Split. There are different beaches nearby . Rented car will increase the flexibility. But bus and boats can also serve well. There is a beach in Trogir , but not the best in the area.
Worth to visit and explore all the narrow streets! The old town is beautiful. Especially I recommend visit one of the local restaurant - Konoba Štorija. They allow you to feel the Trogir's magic. Good place to start your journey in Croatia - you can buy a lot of nice boat trips there.
Trogir is a beautiful place to visit. You can just wander around admiring the beautiful old town and wander down its little streets, turning and finding new streets to explore around every corner. Sit back and relax at one of the water front restaurants and watch the world go by.
Charming picturesque old town surrounded by pretty waterfronts with numerous bars ,restaurants, and small boutique style shops. The narrow little ally ways in the old town are great for exploring. The restaurants have quite a range of meals especially fish, meat, and Italian cuisine; the portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. The staff who served us were friendly and welcoming (as were all the locals). We enjoyed all the meals we had. No beaches in Trogir old town itself but you are not too far away and for a modest charge they are most easily accessed by water taxis, which run frequently from just outside the old castle. Don't make the same mistake as us and try walking to the beaches as the roads are busy and there are no pavements - you have been warned! Finally we spent four days in Trogir which was just about the right time for us - would suggest combining a stay here with maybe a stay in Split.
When on holiday we as a family enjoy eating out locally. Trogir has some of the most exciting dining we have ever enjoyed and the range of cuisine is huge. There are plentiful nice bars (peaceful and buzzing) and wonderful port area where the super-rich moor their yachts for the night. Trogir is steeped in history and is very well priced given the high level of quality
Really nice place to visit. Historic part of the trogir have a unforgettable look. Lot of possibilities to catch the best traditional dishes. Pizza lovers are welcome :-) Evening - night trip around the trogir are so romantic. Cost pizza from 40 tup to 100 HRK - Traditionall fish plate from 70-130 HRK. Basically the dish for two person up to 230HRK
Lovely property. Spotlessly clean. Host very friendly. Few minutes walk from bus station. Great location for visiting old town of Trogir which is wonderful. Walking distance for everything. Great restaurants etc.

The staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Very clean. Amazingly comfortable beds. Fantastic location. We found Croatia to be expensive in general but this hotel was great value. Recommended.
The staff were absolutely incredible at this hotel. So helpful anytime we asked anything about the area, the facilities and if we needed anything. The breakfast buffet was really, really great. The rooms were well designed and so comfortable. I would come back anytime. Great value for a beautiful hotel in the perfect location to Old Town.
