great location, standard of hotel/rooms and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Helped me arrange a driver from the airport to the hotel but as the driver was a bit late got offered free breakfast the morning after . very attentive and friendly staff which made me feel welcome :)

Staying at Hotel Kalm was truly a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect—you can easily walk to some of the coziest brunch spots and great gyms, and the beach is just 10mins walk away, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. With only 10 rooms, it feels very private, intimate, and peaceful—just as the name suggests. It’s the perfect place to unwind, away from any noise or crowds. But what truly makes this place special is the staff. I have never met a friendlier, more welcoming team in my life. Their kindness and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable. I will definitely be coming back very soon—Hotel Kalm is a little oasis, and I can’t wait to return!

I've stayed here a night on a holiday trip in Canggu. The hostel is relatively new, and both the area and rooms are very clean. There's a small green garden on the edge of the property, and the staff are very friendly. In the evening, you can also enjoy the quiet pool with friends. I highly recommend this place. The price is very worth it for the facilities and service.

The staff are very attentive, and the quality of the sheets, towels, and robes is excellent. The rooftop restaurant and pool are great for relaxing, and the hotel offers convenient amenities like a minibar, 24/7 in-room dining, and an on-site gym. I loved the ability to request housekeeping, laundry, and other services easily through their app. The complimentary chocolate experience at checkout was a nice touch. Any issues I brought to their attention were fixed immediately.

    Nice and close to Nuanu, which definitely needs more than a day to see. Beautiful beach club and amazing light art installations. Got to hold a bat at Tanah Lot - but don’t get the Gado Gado from the restaurants there.

    I’ve travelled to Bali a lot over the years but have never stayed in Canggu. It has really top quality restaurants, shops and spas. But I wouldn’t be rushing back the traffic was a terrible and getting Around took so long to get anywhere. The trip to the airport took 2 1/2 hours which was approximately 17 klm from where I was staying and not in peak hour!!!

    Canggu is a crazy wild place too much traffic lots of young people all getting drunk. Lovely beaches but this is definitely for the 20-35 age range. The traffic is terrible it takes 30 minutes to go 1 mile you can walk quicker if it was a direct route and they had sidewalks which the scooters don't use to now drive on. Everyone is trying to get past the next vehicle it's so dangerous no controls anywhere it's a traffic free for all.

    Canggu, is very overrated.

    Canggu, is very overrated. It is chaotic, so much congestion, & not really set up for pedestrians. You can’t swim in the beaches. The layout of the area is everywhere making it too hard to just walk around & find anything, you need to get a car or scooter to get to things & then you are stuck in traffic. We stayed for 9 nights (had paid a lot for the accommodation & we were with other people) but if you wanted to check it out, 2 or 3 nights would be the max. It’s very expensive & it’s just hard to see why this place is getting so popular, places like Nusa Lembongan, Sanur, Uluwatu & Seminyak are way better. There are lots of nice little places to eat though, but there are nice places all through Bali.

    Canggu is a very busy part of Bali. The locals are very friendly with lots to see. Lots of very nice restaurants clise to our stay.Traffic is extremely busy and getting even short distances is difficult due to seriously heavy congestion. We enjoyed our stay but would look at less busy area if you want to travel to the sights to see in Bali

    t’s great for a couple of nights, especially as Canggu is quite busy so its not relaxing. The beaches here aren’t as nice as those in other parts of the island. There are some great spots, but you need to do your research, as the area is very spread out—so planning your days is essential. Canggu is ideal for young people who want to go clubbing and party, but it’s not the best destination for scenic beaches. Berawa Beach had quite a bit of rubbish, which was disappointing. That said, I did love riding on GoJek through the rice paddies—it was a beautiful experience.

    We had a very great time at Kayu village, staying 3 nights. The staff was extremely welcoming, always helpful and kind. The pool was so refreshing and we loved our room where we had a great sleep. The breakfast is quite simple but made it with locally products and you have so much offers in the area. Great location in Canggu. We rent a scooter via the hotel to move around. The beach is about 10min walk from the hotel. Really appreciated our journey here, can’t wait for the next time!

    Absolutely everything. Photos don’t make justice to the place, everything is taken care of in every detail. Rooms are spacious, comfortable. Breakfast is delicious with several options. It is located in a nice street in Canggu, close to stores and restaurants but in a calm area. But the best of the hotel is the personal working there. They are attentive, kind and super helpful. A special thank you to Airiana, Ayu and Dando, who made our experience unforgettable.

    The location is AMAZING! Close to great restaurants, shopping and beach clubs (la Brisa). This is a family owned business and they are a really great family. Very welcoming, helpful and they offer adventure tours all around Bali. The property is very clean and well maintained. Meals and drinks are sold at the property. Scooters are available for rent outside the property. Keep an eye out of the villa opening soon! We will be back ⚓️

    Our stay was wonderful. The location is great to get around Canggu, but quiet and peaceful once you enter the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, and the pool was a nice space.     It was super close to the beach and the staff was friendly and kind. Thats why still 6 points. You can get cheap and good vegan breakfast buffet at Serenity Hotel. And you can use the pool there. + The spa is one of the cheaperst in Canggu and actually good.
