Enchanting boutique resort in true Papuan style with a professional diving and snorkeling center in a private island led by Martina, a wonderful host full of humour and tips. We truly loved our week there and we would like to come back. Food was delicious and freshly made every day. We also had the opportunity to do 3 snorkeling tours in nearby location and they were awesome. Please before booking take into account the place is really authentic and if you are looking for classic resort with continental breakfasts this may be different and reach out to staff to understand the nature and the magic of the place.

We had the best time at Marwes homestay! The house has a beautiful balcony with a private beach and the food is the best we’ve had in Raja Ampat with delicious fresh fish and home baked cake every day :) Erwin is a super host and took us to the waterfall and snorkeling in Wai. Thank you so much Erwin, we will come back one day. Yeehaw!

10/10 - We loved Raja Ampat Bungalows and had a perfect and unforgettable time. We would choose to come back here over and over again. Before we even started our journey to Raja Ampat we had a fantastic communication with the homestay. They gave us all the important information in advance what to think off so we felt very prepared by the time we arrived. This was super helpful!!! (Thanks again for that) The host Ringo is by far the best host we met on our trip (we have been to several other homestays). Ringo is a very kind host, super helpful with planning tours/ exchanging experience and he also speaks very good English. The food is very delicious - every day was something different. When we went diving our homestay packed us lunches. We were always very excited to eat. The bungalows were clean, cosy and all you are looking for in a relaxing retreat on a remote island. The place is extraordinary. The house reef is very beautiful with many fish and corals in excellent condition. All the staff was very nice. I especially want to thank all the staff for the attention received since I had a health problem and they were concerned about my health at all times.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gibran guesthouse located in Kri island. The ocean view rooms are just above water and you can just junp into the ocean from your porch ready to snorkel. The room and the common areas were clean The toilet is outside the room. The food is good and quantities are enough. They told us that in July they wikk do some renovation work in the rooms. The service was perfect and we did a couple of excursions with the team. They were very attentive with my 73 years old father. We recommend this Guesthouse. Thank you very much.

Basic homestay at the very end of the beach - A bed, a table, a chair, a toilet. Shared showers in the backyard. A bungalow under trees, shadow on the terrace. it's clean and right at the ocean. depending on tide it's zero to 5 meters from the terrace to the sea. beautiful beach. the food was good, you got tea and water for free 24/7. the owner is very friendly and warm, has a boat and can arrange trips around the islands and to snorkeling spots. He is speaking very basic English. right in front is a beautiful snorkeling reef, in the morning you can see baby sharks swimming at the beach. I stayed for 12 nights. don't expect any luxury, it's a basic bungalow.

We (a couple) stayed here for a whole week in January 2025 with two friends. Accommodation is very basic, however, it came with a toilet and private shower which wasn't offered at our other place we stayed on in Gam, so a+ for a toilet. The owners were friendly and very helpful with helping us fix/arrange anything we needed. For example, my husband had gotten food poisoning from something he ate in Bali and they helped us go to the hospital. A toilet seat was missing and they sorted it immediately. We went on three trips with them to these places: Friwen Wall, Yenbuba Jetty, Cape Kri (which is about 5 minutes away), Manta Point (twice), Melissa's Garden along with Piaynemo, and Sauwandarek village. The guide Afek was great and an amazing swimmer who could freedive quite deep. He pointed out anything he spotted and was very hospitable and accommodating. He was such a nice guy and although there was a language barrier, it was easy to tell he was really genuine. Prepare long sleeve clothes as we got swarmed by jellyfish at Cape Kri. Other things we liked: * You can pay using Wise for excursions which was helpful. * The data was a bit spotty, but mostly worked on the terrace. *The food was delicious! It was the best food we had in Raja Ampat. They ensured we had fresh fruit every day and each meal was more than filling and fresh. They had a common area where you can meet the others staying there which was great in the evening. *They cleaned the room each day which was nice too! *Lots of incredible sunsets!
