We had an amazing experience at Kokomo. They arranged our transport from the airport to the island. We were welcomed very nicely. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The villa with private pool was exceptional.

The bungaloves are beautiful and comfy. very nice common area around the bar and great food. all staff was super nice and helpful. they can organize snorkeling for you or any boat transfer you need.

If you are looking for something special in the south Gili, a quiet, peaceful hotel, this is the place. We spent nine days, here. There are three bungalows and a few rooms in a low building, we stayed in a bungalow. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. There was ac and hot water. The pool was large,deep and well maintained too. The atmosfere was very relaxing: you feel you are in a family; the owner, madame Hera, is very friendly and can help you for any question. The cooking of the hotel is very good and food is prepared on order.

We stayed two nights with our two daughters (3 & 6) at this wonderful place. We visited Gili Gede after visiting Selong Belenak and before visiting Nusa Penida. We visited the village for sunset and did a half day private snorkeling tour (saw a giant sea turtle) to the accompanying islands. The place has a homestay feel and the staff is super friendly and we all felt at home immediately. The food is great, which made everything so much easier with the kids, so we did not have to look elsewhere for lunch and dinner. We would definitely recommend this place!

Nice island which is actually quite big. Has a couple of villages with friendly people. A nice place to walk around and explore. Around the island there are certain places with nice snorkeling too, but you need to know where to go.

This is one of the lesser known 'Gilis' and in contrast to Air, Meno and Trawangan, much less visited. The touristical infrastructure is still to be developed, although there is some. Unfortunately the island suffers from an overwhelming problem of plastic waste that washes up on its shores from Lombok proper and elsewhere. There are various initiatives on the island to deal with this, but one day cleaned, the beach will be full with plastic waste again the next day. This is a national Indonesian problem where the attitude towards waste needs to be more evolved to save the beaches and maritime ecology. Nevertheless, some awesome snorkeling can be done. The villages are interesting: authentically Indonesian and very little developed. It seems there will be huge development in the future, so go there now. Moving around the island is best done by boat as there are few roads.

This stay was even better than our first stay. The food is delicious. The rooms are great with the best seaviews ever. Staff really friendly. We really appreciate the efforts to reduce plastic waste and help villagers to dispose of rubbish. The sailing trip is highly recommended and was the highlight of our holiday.

The normal time for checking in is usually at 2pm, but you can get in earlier if they already made up the room. The check-in went smoothly and fast, and we can relax on our room immediately. What I love the most about Ultimate Dive, is their helpful staff and free facilities they offered. Free rent of kayak, paddle board, bike, etc. You can go snorkeling right infront of the hotel. Be careful of the sea urchin tho. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely experience here.
