Lovely little hotel with huge comfortable rooms. The vibe in the restaurant/pool area was perfect - chilled jazz music throughout the day and cosy at night with candlelit tables. It was great to have some British dinner options too after being away from home a long time!

Rumah Luwih is a gem of a hotel! Everything from the beginning made an impression on me - the grand white-marble lobby with traditional Indonesian frniture, high ceilings and a massive staircase in the middle of the hall, super friendly and helpful staff. Rumah Luwih feels like a hotel from a fairytale where you are taken care of each step of your stay and at the same time given enough space to rest and relax. The views are incredible - you can see both sunrise over the beach and the sunset over the mountains. The room was cozy, spacious and beautifully decorated with a big bathroom and all the necessary (and more!) amenities. I slept really well, the noise isolation is amazing, you can't hear anything except the sea and the birds. This place is my forever favourite getaway for a true relaxation.

We are very pleased with our stay at Uma Dewa, we could not have expected more. Julie and Desi are super friendly and so helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast excellent! The scooter could be rented there the day of our arrival and laundry was fast done. We extended our booking because we felt at home and for every problem, they find a solution. I had to give online classes and they even cleaned up very deeply the area next to the pool and placed an extra light to make sure I was totally comfortable to give my classes.. Such a service is rarely found anywhere else. Thank you soooo much, I miss your beautiful smiles and wish you all the BEST. Big hugs to you.

KOMANEKA is the place we keep coming back. First is the hotel itself, really well located villas in front of the beach with a pool and a see view. Also located 5 min walk to one of the best waves in Bali. Second is the people, they are all lovely and will do anything to make your stay the most enjoyable as possible. Third it’s a Balinese owned place, not a big hotel chain.

    There are quite a few places to stay in the area.

    There are quite a few places to stay in the area. High end ones like Kommune and Desa Swan Villas are incredible but some of the more budget ones are almost as good. Make sure you eat at one of the beachside warungs. Great quality, freshly cooked food at amzing prices. You might get a bonus duck parade if you time it right!

    Unfortunately, the reception staff are not flexible in dealing, the housekeeping knock on the tools and doors forcefully in corridor without taking into account the comfort and sleep of the guests, there are no breakfast options and the same menu every day, the hotel does not deserve more than three stars, and the cost for the service is bad, it was a very bad experience

    Excellent surf spot offering slightly better weather (less clouds than the other coasts in my experience). Up and coming area with lots of new developments happening. A great place to spend your money and invest away from all the chaos of Sanur etc. Black volcanic sand beach. The famous White Sands beach a short drive away

    We already miss our large private quite friendly beautiful villa at Desa Swans!! # 16 is great!! And we just left today. A home away from home with a private pool!! We are now in a tiny beach hut with semi working air conditioning and semi poor customer service :( I don’t know if we will return to Bali but if we do we’d love to come back to Desa Swan. We are visiting our son who is a surf coach with a month off and the surf was excellent in Keramas.

    Keramas/Saba is a quiet seaside area with minimal development although this looks to be changing. The beach is black sand and not one you would want to laze about on. There is a lot if plastic rubbish at the beach access points. It is a surf beach. The area we stayed in, Saba, was quite isolated and you would be best to have your own transport. Ubud and Candi Dasa are an easy drive away.

    This homestay provided the perfect tranquil escape from bustling Bali. Intentionally chosen for its peaceful seclusion, it offered excellent value. Reliable hot water and a delicious breakfast were highlights. The convenience of ordering from a partner restaurant with delivery was a great bonus. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Renting a car was essential for exploring the surrounding areas due to the homestay's secluded location, far from central Bali.

    Keramas Surf Camp is perfect for surfers - you can walk to the beach on foot through the rice fields. Simple but good breakfast is surfed right at the beach and you can see the wave from there. Would definitely come back!
