I had an excellent stay at Lava Sky. The property is very clean and well maintained, with incredible views—especially at sunrise. The staff went above and beyond, lighting the fire for us each night at the requested time and even coordinating takeaway deliveries when needed. When I arrived with a flat bike tire, they took care of it right away. Everything was seamless, and I felt well looked after. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

We really loved everything about it! Its in the mountains and its not to far from some restaurants in the area. Its accessible with a scooter! We loved the hot spring water swimming pool.

The property location is absolutely breathtaking. And the little house itself is absolutely perfect! In side and necessities. There was not anything that I feel it lacked that was too important. The hammock was definitely my highlight, and falling asleep and waking up to astonishing views felt like a dream.

We stayed at Tegal Sari Cabin Kintamani for 2 nights and had a truly memorable experience. The staff are extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome with refreshing drinks on arrival. The cabin can be a little tricky to get to, but the staff are always ready to help with anything you need and provide attentive support to ensure your comfort. From every room, you can enjoy a direct view of Mount Batur and the lake—whether from the bed or while standing on the balcony. The weather in Kintamani is temperate, and if you’re lucky you will witness a view more breathtaking than anywhere else. The bedding is super soft and cozy, which gave us wonderful sleep and rest throughout our stay. Breakfast was perfectly prepared and excellent value, offering flavors that make international visitors feel at home in Bali. The staff speak English very well, making communication easy, and they are happy to share helpful tips about local lifestyle. The food and drinks provided are of good quality—we had no issues at all. The cabin and rooms are very clean. Given the natural and wild environment, we expected to see more pests, but we were pleasantly surprised to only spot a couple of small beetles during our 3-day, 2-night stay. Overall, Tegal Sari Cabin is a gem—beautiful views, welcoming people, and a cozy, comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

We booked a private villa for the birthday and it was a brilliant idea! The private pool with hot springs, secluded dining area for our guests and the room service was excellent! The rooms are clean and cozy, I also ordered a birthday decoration for my friend, so it looked fantastic! Staff was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend this place (especially there is not a lot of villa options in Kintamani)

We did 2 days which is more than enough, nothing really to see at the lake, and if you do go to temple, as usual pay to enter, pay sarong, and it’s dirty and pretty average. Mount Batur is however beautiful to view from Kintamani, the Specialty Coffee place was a cool looking establishment will terrible coffee! And as usual a odour that will scare you off. The township is so dirty, all their waste is put over the side of the hill. Sad to see so much neglect and waste dumped in this area which has so much beauty around.

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

Many restaurants and chill place.Beautiful perfect picture overlooking the mountains. Love the weather in kintamani.Must try their local delicacy. To get here is best to have a local guide that can drive you around.Many hotspring to visit.

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and...

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

Loved every bit of our stay. This place has been built with care and taste in every details. The location is stunning in the middle of the forest. Staff is extremely well trained, professional and friendly. Food was excellent and affordable. Our room was comfortable and clean. Loved the bedding and the bathroom. We enjoyed the hot bath at the Spa. What’s else? The evening was chilly so we received hot water bottles for the night. This level of service I haven’t experienced anywhere else in Bali and maybe in the World. We will be back.

The entire property gives peace to your mind. So refreshing and relaxing hot spring swimming pool, delicious breakfast & delicious food too. The best ever stay I had in Bali except the experience with flies it was annoying. Rest would definitely recommend for everyone to try this hostel.

This was one of the best places I stayed during my trip. The staff is so so so friendly. At night they build a bonfire and I learnt so much about Balinese culture by talking to staff. Also the trekking arranged by hotel was 10/10. If you are looking for a place to stay, this is it!
