Honesty, everything and everyone here was fantastic. Few, but far from all, of the highlights: spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. great food at the hotel restaurant, free for the breakfast and priced very reasonable for lunches and dinners. amazingly friendly and helpful staff, very nice pool area with perfect temperature. Very clean, private beach with bean bag/umbrella set ups for guests. Lush green gardens and so many more great details. We were so positively surprised by this hotel and by Labuan Bajo as a whole, that we’ll be back for sure.

We loved this beautiful boutique hotel on a tiny island built over a tropical reef. We stayed in a bamboo cottage on the beach with an outdoor bathroom from your dreams. They picked us up by boat from the mainland and we were away from the touristy town. Everything was well kept and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was delicious and they even made us a boxed lunch to take on our one day national park tour. The hotel took us out on their private speed boat with a captain, mate and guide for a full day adventure including meeting Komodo dragons, swimming on a pink beach, hiking up to the top of Padar island and the best snorkeling we have ever witnessed. Best day of a two week trip. I wish we had stayed a few more days.

    It was a stopover for our tour of the Komodo Islands. Looks like there was great seafood in restaurants which we would have liked to try, but too late to make reservations. If we return we will choose a location closer to town so we can explore what it has to offer.

    The set of islands and Komodo National Park off of Labuan...

    The set of islands and Komodo National Park off of Labuan Bajo have stunning marine life; ideal for snorkeling, scuba-diving and hiking. It's definitely worth exploring these remote island via multi-day boat trip. Look for decent boat sleeping arrangement, and guides that has extensive experience of the area to spot manta ray, turtles, dolphins and other sea creatures.

    Great town with nice boat trip options for world class snorkeling and diving. Really nice choice of tours, hotels and restaurants found in town. Not as busy as Bali and more friendly people. Inland tours have very bad roads as it is windy and volcanic, so be prepared for a very time consuming inland tours.

    Labuan Bajo is a vibrant an interesting place.

    Labuan Bajo is a vibrant an interesting place. The first time you see the harbour from the hill it makes you laugh with pleasure. People remain very friendly and helpful and although dive shops abound (and other tourist package offerings), you don't feel hassled at all. Further afield in Flores is very interesting if you like exploring, drinking coffee and talking to people - spectacular scenery. If you are more of a Bali Beachside holidayer, don't spend too long - probably 3 days is enough If you like culture and wandering, or just doing lots of dives/ boat rides and snorkelling, you could spend weeks.

    Labuan surprised me!

    Labuan surprised me! such a mix of budget travel hotels and maximum luxury same with restaurants ! truly everybody can find something fir their taste and budget! a hustling little harbour city with a multi cultural population! amazing trips to smaller islands and beaches a must !! Scuba and Diving absolutely fantastic! A beautiful island if not for the scattered rubbish! What an eyesore so do sad to see indeed !! Still absolutely worth a visit.

    Elang is a beautiful place and the villas are nice and cozy. The staff was extremely friendly with us and super attentive to all of our needs. We stayed at Elang while being stuck in Komodo due to flight cancellations because of a volcano eruption and the staff was always very helpful, including finding information for us about possible ways to leave Labuan Bajo (e.g. checking ferry times which is quite challenging!) The hotel is also really close to the city centre and the airport so super convenient to move around

    Hôtel La Belle Etoile Is a wonderful hotel. It is a short distance from Labuan Bajo so a taxi or scooter is necessary. The Hôtel is a great base to visit Flores. The Hôtel provides a lovely breakfast. The Hôtel is very clean and comfortable. The Hôtel offers good value for money. The staff are incredibly kind and are happy to offer assistance in booking tours or transport. The beach is close by and the sunset is magnificent.

    The resort is beautiful with a great beach for sunset and nice pool facing the beach, very quiet and great restaurant and facilities, the gym is nice with basic equipment, perfect for relaxing in a calm area near Labuan Bajo. The room was perfect, very comfortable and large (Suite Inerie) with view on nice gardens. I really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely recommend.
