The green canyon & waterfalls are definetely worth a visit. As 2 women we did felt stared at and young people shout all kind of things to you on the streets. If you are fine with that than you should go here cause apart from that it’s a really nice place!

We stayed for two full days. The first day we joined a tour to Green Valley and Green Canyon. This was one of the best things we did during our trip. But be aware that it will be a very active and exhausting day. The second days we used for exploring the beach area. As we were there during the weekend, there were many Indonesian tourists and it was really interesting to watch the scenery.

Pangandaran is a a great tourist place. It is always busy on the weekend. We have found our secret seafood restaurant now. The beaches are good, the people are so so friendly. We love it, that is why we keep going back time after time. Everything is good with Pangandaran with the exception of (a) the charging of higher fees for non-indonesians to see pantai putih (b) it is difficult now (since the changing of the main street) to get a coffee or a meal on the beach and now have to drive out 5 kilometres of the main area to go to our favourite restaurant.

This place is for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Green valley and green canyon were great, but it depends a lot on the guide you go with. The standard tour that you get in Pangandaran is too simple and can be done by anyone. The one we booked with mini tiga homestay was much tougher and more adventurous and more demanding. Never done anything like this ever before! We ve done a lot of snorkeling and kayaking and rafting and caving before.. This still beats them all. There are several nice beachside restaurants in the area and food is very cheap. We went for a run in the morning in the beach and a grass land above the beach.. It was so nice and peaceful. Rent a motorbike and explore the area, Go on tours and eat a lot. Didn't get a chance to explore more of Pangandaran as we stayed for only one night, but definitely can stay 3 nights there just chilling and exploring the nature.

Nice beach with mostly locals. Waves not to big, but here you can learn how to surf. Trips to Green Valley and Green Canyon are great fun. You can make a boat trip to nice beach or island. If you like seafood then this is the place. But....... in weekends and holidays it can be very busy with locals from the big city's.

Very nice small city in Indonesia with very nice and lovely people. The places around are amazing. Green Canyon and Green Valley are the best spot for visiting here! Highly recommended to the one love pure beautiful nature and ecological environment
