Located in Payangan, 10 km from Neka Art Museum, Pramana Giri Kusuma provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The location is remote, and we liked it! It really is in the jungle. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, lush with flora and fauna and the design is especially thoughtful and in good taste. The staff was extraordinary: they really did everything to make our stay comfortable and beyond. We enjoyed the food, the pool and the beautiful birthday preparations. Special thanks to Eji and the hotel manager (sorry I forgot to ask his name), both very kind and professional people.

Situated in Majangan, Buahan Village of Payangan Gianyar, Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas is a 45-minute drive from the centre of Ubud. The villa offers complimentary WiFi. Thank you Mr. Adi, for making our stay unforgettable. We promised to come back on the way up North and we will! This is a beautiful garden in a tropical forest with super comfortable and special villas and rooms. Great service, spirit and atmosphere. Highly decorated space, double infinity pool, private pools and bathtubs outside. *High pressure hot water* in the shower, wonderful breakfast and stunning view to the forest, hills, and rice fields. You can walk around and enjoy the scenery, learn by looking, and literally touch the rice grains and baby pine apples. I definitely recommend for short and longer stays while exploring the heart of Bali

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Padi Bali Eco Villas offers accommodation in Payangan, 5 km from Elephant Safari Park. Free private parking is available on site. Fantastic villa, in the middle of the paddy fields. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is one good option! The villa is made from bamboo and really nice to be in touch with nature. Lots of nature sounds, and only the occasional sound of a scooter with a loud exhaust in the distance. Real paddy fields by the entrance and surrounding the property. The staff were great, always attentive. It is super peaceful, to watch the birds and locals in the fields. Do bear in mind that working in the fields is backbreaking work so locals there may not be too keen to wave to you. You can watch the sunrise from the pool area, we got up around 6-7am and it was a great start to the day - it is something you can enjoy here from the location which many other hotels simply cant match... due to being in the middle of a paddy field. You can get 4G+ LTE reception at the villa no problem. This is not a negative point, but if your hot water runs out, know that each villa's hot water is powered by a small gas tank underneath each villa so if you only have cold water, you need to let them know - and there is no phone so you'll need to do this by going to the reception whether its raining or dark. It is just something to be aware of, part of the nature of being on holiday and taking things easy! They are friendly and come really quick! Borrow an umbrella in case you don't have one as it can rain in Bali. The restaurant serves up really basic food which can also be delivered to the room, but you will be better off going elsewhere to be honest. You may struggle to find a Gojek or Bluebird taxi that comes up here, especially if coming from Ubud, the airport or Denpasar, but we did - just persist, and try again!

+ - Beautiful place - Amazing surroundings. - Friendly staff - Good food - Spacious rooms - - Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly) - Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service) - Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours) - The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.
The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.
It is a relaxing place you can enjoy the rice terraces and crops around with this mystic that you can feel visiting the temples. Also, you can find many options to enjoy a relaxing bath in a waterfall.
I truly enjoyed walking the two of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural view on the side of the road was a great way to Relax and enjoy your quality time for.
Gorgeous landscapes in this part of Bali are worth to stay in Payangan for those who enjoy beautiful walks in a peaceful, generous nature. We took most of our meals in the top quality Awan Biru Villas restaurant, but we also recommend to try the tasty food of the local small warungs. Good news : Payangan is just at a half an hour distance by car from Ubud.

A beautiful resort with very kind and helpful staff. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our room, which we upgraded on arrival. The service was impeccable. The rooms are super-spacious and equipped with a private outdoor kitchen and pool. It was beautiful, very quiet and very comfortable. On a note: the room condition both in- and outside could use some attention: a small investment here and there could raise the value of the product. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would certainly recommend it and return on my next Bali visit.

The House is really nice and the location in the middle of the forest is just amazing! If you need to relax it’s definitely the perfect location. Restaurants are a little bit far away, but the owner drove me for free to the next best! The owner and his family are really helpfull and also kindly. I lost my charger there and the owner even drove the next day to my next hotel and gave it to me just for a little bit of money! :)

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Waking up in the middle of the rice fields is just one of the best things one can do. The surrounding environment is quiet and serene. Friendly staff and I quite enjoyed the food there too - simple, but nice. Suitable for those who wants to stay slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, which isn't too far away anyway.
Wayan (the host) was extremely helpful and making sure all the time you have everything you need. We could rent there a motorbike for fair price. On the other hand, Wayan helped us extremely in the last morning (6 am) to get to Ubud by waking up his brother (he's a taxi driver) so he could drive us there (Gojek couldn't find a driver)
Great selection for breakfast, all the food we had there was lovely. The staff always happy and helpful. The rooms are huge and decorated lovely. It was really nice to sit in front of the pool eating breakfast. It's about 20-30 mins from Ubud Centre but well worth the stay, the resort driver took us into the Centre for a small fee.
