We will never forget the gracious staff at Buahan such as Arta and Chef Surya. They were from the many staff that made our Honeymoon unforgettable and special. The small details like drawing a bath on our last night and walking us to our villa and back on regular nights. Everyone was so friendly and took great care of us. Our stay was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Wayan with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. Wayan and Emma went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. Their genuine care made us feel right at home. It’s a humble guesthouse 20 minutes from Ubud, the tranquil atmosphere instantly put us at ease and allowed us to unwind and relax. The rooster’s crow in the morning didn’t bother us. One of the standout features of our stay was the meditation sessions with Wayan, his approach was both accessible and insightful. His soothing voice and gentle instructions guided us into relaxation and inner peace.

    Payangan is about 20 - 30 minutes out of Ubud, depending on traffic. It is an excellent introduction to Balinese village life and the 'real' Bali. There are no facilities except some basic little general stores, and no ATM in the village. Outside of the hotels, there are no restaurants. It's a 'get away from it all' destination.

    + - Beautiful place - Amazing surroundings. - Friendly staff - Good food - Spacious rooms - - Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly) - Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service) - Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours) - The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

    The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

    Up in the hills off the beaten track and away from the hustle and bustle. A 5-night stay here was just what we needed to wind down from an intensely busy period back home, and to kick iff 5 week stay in Bali. The views are amazing especially from the infinity pool. Our room with plunge pool was very comfortable and a generous size. Loved the buffet breakfast and afternoon tea each day was a treat. We booked a couple of massages and also two shuttles into Ubud. The shuttle is a necessary service as the resort is too far from Ubud to walk.

    Welcomed by very friendly staff available 24hrs via Whatsap very prompt responding to our texts. The property is as it stands in the pictures. Well designed nice decor, very private and in a quiet location in the middle of rice fields. The breakfast is generous and delicious. We have stayed in 2 different Woy Woy villas during our stay in Bali ( Samu and Bukian) and they do not disappoint - fabulous stay. Pool was well maintained and the area is spacious. Thank you
