Basic room, nice location next to market and a short walk to Main Street where it’s easy to find a meal. The staff make this hotel … they are so helpful in many ways (finding transportation, helping with SIM card, etc.) Family and off duty staff acted as guide for our excursions!

Excellent location, spectacular view, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Beer for sale. Tours can be booked here and the owners are so helpful and friendly. Nice cozy place with a beautiful garden and fish pond.

Highly recommend. Came with 2 night reservation, stayed a week. Host is amazing, home is just north of tomohon, so a bit more quiet. Centrally located between or near volcanos & waterfalls to hike. Host also provided motorbike route options with ideal places to check out along the way. Information she provides is invaluable. Super cute pup that lives here too. Rooms: lamp, fan, desk, bed, one has private patio (where I stayed), shared bathroom. This was never an issue for any of us (guests or host)

The villa is a wonderful home that is a great change from the coast in indonesia. This villa is open with beautiful views and a cool breeze and is great for relaxing and sleeping without air conditioning! a nice change after a week of 40c! it was nice to stay in the middle of an active farming community - with many crops, tractors and busy farmers..and lots of birds and nature too!

Wawowow is a very special place. But it’s not for everyone. If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.

    We were just one of the few tourists so our experience might be different. Good food, friendly staff. However some more information in a folder on tours in the Minahasa Highlands would be great. Luckily Leslie was very helpful and got some nice tours for us (really liked the rafting with Henky). Unfortunately no chance to rent a scooter in all of Tomohon. Tomohon and the surroundings are nice but less authentic then we thought, quite a big city!

    We had a great 2 nights stay at Rimba Eco Resort exploring the surrounding Tomohon area and the volcanic sights! The owners Arno & Angie have done a great job with the place and it's very "homey" and welcoming with friendly staff and cute cats & dogs. We had a fun night out at a local bar with Arno and some other guests and we also spent a day out exploring the sights of which Arno gave us some great recommendations!

    Well designed comfortable cottage accommodation surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and lake. We enjoyed the birds and butterflies from our balcony. An oasis in Tomohon. The swimming pool was a bonus. Arlin, the manager, really looked after us, bringing an ice pack for an injured foot. She speaks faultless English. There is a very good pork restaurant two minutes away.

    One of the people working for the hotel (the owner?) helped a lot with tips on things to do in the area, ferry to the Togean islands and transportation. The staff in general was friendly. Rooms are big, i got a free upgrade.
