My stay at Mayaloka Ubud has been my favorite experience in Bali so far. It’s a beautiful new boutique hotel tucked within walking distance of Ubud Palace and the Art Market — but what truly sets it apart is the heart and hospitality of the team. Balinese people are famously kind, but the staff at Mayaloka go above and beyond. When they noticed my curiosity and interest in their culture, Ayu graciously invited us to join in the Galungan celebration — one of Bali’s most important holidays that honors the victory of good over evil. She even lent me traditional clothing so I could feel part of the experience. Adi then guided us through the rituals at the nearby temple, patiently teaching us how to participate in the prayers and offerings. As for the accommodations: the room was lovely, especially the semi-outdoor shower, and the private pool was the perfect way to cool off after a day exploring Ubud. Daily breakfast was a nice touch, I loved the Nasi Goreng and the smoothie bowl which was always accompanied with fresh juice and fruit. The team also did a fantastic job maintaining the grounds and minimizing mosquitos — no small feat in this area.

Oh my god this hotel was AMAZING, no words are enough to express my feelings, the villas are soooooo clean, the pool is amazing, the room service is top notch and the prices for each dish or set is soooooo affordable and even cheaper than eating out in a restaurant! They serve you complementary fruit in the villa and 4 bottles of water each day you stay there. There are absolutely no bugs inside the villa, and the staff are so sweet, so nice, so helpful and always smiling, and the service is 24 hours, the super market is 5 minutes away by bike I loved every single second there it felt like an actual second home The room is so big with a high ceiling and the bed is so soft with 4 pillows and 2 Cushings, i had the best sleep in the world there, thank you so much for this beautiful experience

The owners and the staff were so kind to me. I was solo traveler. Kadek, Guru and chef were so friendly☺️. They really did their best, I am under impression. Moving another hotel got some issues, didn't like the place, wasn't safe to me. Called the owner Sinar, she organized everything, send the driver after me, found new place, had special dinner with them, she calmed me down, took care of me like mother, helped me to cancel my booking and called them for refund. So, huminity is above everything. Blessed having them in my life.🙏🤍
