It was very modern, although maintaining old fashion personal accommodations. Well located and reasonably priced.

The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking.

Everything about the hotel was fab, we arrived to the genuinely welcoming smile of front receptionist Nina, an absolute pleasure to deal with, helpful informative and just lovely. The room was great, we had breakfast delivered and it was scrumptious. On leaving we met Jonathan, again a fantastic representative funny and extremely helpful. We'll be visiting again thats for sure!!

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town center and O'Moore Park. It features a 20-yard pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym.

A brand new apartment, a car park, central location, great instructions for self checkin and general advice for our stay by staff, very clean. The trains going past were interesting, some fast, some slow. An elevator a bonus with our suitcases too.
