AustraliaThe management and staff were incredibility friendly as was the level of service especially at the breakfast service. There was a extensive choice at both dinner and breakfast. The hotel was also in a great location within walking distance of Blarney Castle.
The Blarney Castle Hotel's service level, atmosphere and quality of meals far exceeded that of other places we stayed at in Ireland including a 5 star hotel.

AustraliaTo start the hosts were wonderful and totally focussed on our well being. And they are refreshingly honest folk. The venue is an amazing and beautifully decorated and furnished period home. The grounds and aspect are beautiful. The breakfast was exceptional. It is a very quiet location with rooms well separated. It is faultless and will spoil you for any further travelling. Do yourself a favour and book here if you are visiting Blarney or Cork areas.

We were met by our host who showed us thru our room & explained local services, etc. The room was very roomy with comfy lounge chairs,quiet, modern & extremely comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was unexpected, with cereal, yogurt, fresh juice & milk, bread for toast & condiments. Parking on site. A stay here is recommended.

The Blarney Castle was a challenge, taking children up or going up with high heels or anything that is not good foot gear , I would not recommend. Steps are wet and steep. Very tight stairwell. Scary . However it took us a bit to go up. And we made it. Going down is easier. A bucket list for sure.

Great place to meet true Irish local people once the day trippers had gone home. Try and avoid corporate or chain hotels. Find a pub, or private hotel even a B & B near the Green cum entrance to the Castle

Beautiful, quaint little town and the Castle is fabulous.
Beautiful, quaint little town and the Castle is fabulous. I never knew there were gardens and a house, have only ever heard about the castle, so it was a wonderful surprise to find out there is so much more to do. The Woolen Mills shop is every shoppers dream and has every Irish product you could ever want. We stayed in the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel which was exceptional, but excellent value.

Was in line at the Blarney Castle when it opened and was able to make my way directly to the Blarney Stone which meant I didn't have to wait in a long line up. It was interesting to explore the castle and learn about the history and purpose of the rooms. The gardens at the castle were nice to walk around as well and the stables were impressive.

We have been to Blarney many times over the years.
We have been to Blarney many times over the years. Many places to eat or if you rent an Airbnb, you can find prepared meal at the local stores.
We go to Ireland for the music and there are many sessions at some of the local pubs. They may be hard to find because they are mostly known by the locals.

Blarney is a beautiful small town.
Blarney is a beautiful small town. Locals asked why we wanted to stay there, but we wanted to stay in villages and small towns. There are 2 pub hotels, plus other restaurants, a pretty green park in the middle of town, small shops, a HUGE woolen mill, and Blarney Castle! We loved our time there and the town was very busy at night. Great food and drinks in the pubs. The pub hotels are very reasonably price, also.

We loved our Castle room, the staff and service couldn't have been better. We were more than satisfied with all of our meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner ending with sticky toffee pudding and Irish coffee) The gardens were also spectacular!!
We stayed in 7 different accommodation locations during our 2 weeks in Ireland and Northern Ireland and Ballygally Castle Hotel was by far our favorite.

Best place to sleep and stay in the entire blarney county. Maranatha house has probably the most comfortable bed I ever slept with. The food was awesome and the service is top notch.
If you need to stay near blarney or cork, this is the place.
