The Blarney Castle was a challenge, taking children up or going up with high heels or anything that is not good foot gear , I would not recommend. Steps are wet and steep. Very tight stairwell. Scary . However it took us a bit to go up. And we made it. Going down is easier. A bucket list for sure.

Great place to meet true Irish local people once the day trippers had gone home. Try and avoid corporate or chain hotels. Find a pub, or private hotel even a B & B near the Green cum entrance to the Castle

Beautiful, quaint little town and the Castle is fabulous.
Beautiful, quaint little town and the Castle is fabulous. I never knew there were gardens and a house, have only ever heard about the castle, so it was a wonderful surprise to find out there is so much more to do. The Woolen Mills shop is every shoppers dream and has every Irish product you could ever want. We stayed in the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel which was exceptional, but excellent value.

Was in line at the Blarney Castle when it opened and was able to make my way directly to the Blarney Stone which meant I didn't have to wait in a long line up. It was interesting to explore the castle and learn about the history and purpose of the rooms. The gardens at the castle were nice to walk around as well and the stables were impressive.

We have been to Blarney many times over the years.
We have been to Blarney many times over the years. Many places to eat or if you rent an Airbnb, you can find prepared meal at the local stores.
We go to Ireland for the music and there are many sessions at some of the local pubs. They may be hard to find because they are mostly known by the locals.

Blarney is a beautiful small town.
Blarney is a beautiful small town. Locals asked why we wanted to stay there, but we wanted to stay in villages and small towns. There are 2 pub hotels, plus other restaurants, a pretty green park in the middle of town, small shops, a HUGE woolen mill, and Blarney Castle! We loved our time there and the town was very busy at night. Great food and drinks in the pubs. The pub hotels are very reasonably price, also.

The hotel/pub is located close to Blarney Castle and it has a Centro next door if you need anything.
The room was clean, comfortable and had everything you need (except for a fridge).
The food in the restaurant was excellent and if you want to listen to some music, there was live entertainment from 10pm to midnight.
The staff were amazing and always willing to assist with any request.
I enjoyed my stay here. It was one of the highlights of my trip.

Our only regret was we were not able to stay longer! This hotel, town and the people were absolutely amazing! We spent 9 days in Ireland and traveled around to several towns, the staff and residents of Blarney were the most friendly, interactive and helpful of all the places we visited. The food was absolutely outstanding at the Blarney Castle Hotel and the room was beautiful! We will absolutely be back-it was absolutely lovely!

Property had a lot of options for dining. Even a tea room for high teas!
Room was very clean, beautifully decorated.
Comfy bed. Great view!
Bathroom was clean with extra towels.
Location is easy walking distance to village, Blarney Castle & Stone.
Public transport is easily available straight to Blarney via Cork from Dublin airport.

This was by far the best place we stayed in Ireland! It is an absolutely stunning house, beautiful grounds, and a wonderful breakfast! Owlin and Douglas are the most kindest people and their staff is extraordinary as well! I cannot praise my stay enough. If we are ever back in Ireland we will certainly be revisiting!

Modern, well presented, spotless and spacious accommodation. Parking space on site. Perfect for our stay. Hostess was helpful and friendly, even left us some milk in the fridge. Only a five minute drive from Blarney village. Highly recommended.
