Great town. See the Michael Collins museum and story. Go to Dingle, it’s not far. Killarney is a half hour down the road, great little town. Go look into the Clonokilty Catholic Church downtown, it is magnificent.

Clonakilty is a beautiful town with great amenities and also you are only a short car ride to Inchadonny beach, Courtmacsherry was also beautiful and the Model Railway Station is ideal to pastime with children or even for the adults.

Great buzz in the town.
Great buzz in the town. We visited Clonakilty black pudding factory. We enjoyed the tour. Pauline looked after us very well . She is friendly & informative. We enjoyed the tea & breakfast food. We went back into the town to see the Twomey butcher shop. The square at the Michael Collins Statute is lovely there was market with interesting crafts.

Lovely town with shops and pubs lining the street - very walkable from the guesthouse . People are friendly which made my stay even nicer. Well worth visiting since there is a strong feeling of community and festivals throughout the year. I look forward to returning in the future!

Clonakilty was recommended to us by a friend as she had visited with family on a holiday. Loved this little seaside town, which had plenty to offer in the way of things to see and do. We could easily have spent a few days here happily, relaxing or looking for a bit to get out and do. I feel that as travellers on an international trip, it gave us a great opportunity to experience what I saw as the real Ireland - a true little town which held such history and a passion for its people. Would recommend anyone to go and spend some time there.

I was there to attend a wedding.
I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

Having visited Clonakilty numerous times over the years, often stopping at the quality hotel as a family, this year we stopped at Bushmount Lodge, fantastic decision.
Excellent location, rooms sizes and facilities perfect and extremely clean. Bonus was having a food / drink hamper on arrival which was a lovely touch.
100% will be stopping here again when we next visit.

A gracious welcome to guests throughout the stay. A stunning outlook over the ocean. Beautiful food, carefully grown, cooked and served with pride. Lovely rooms. An outstanding culture of service and hospitality. Such respect among staff, guests and hotel leadership is a rarity. Dunmore House Hotel has written the manual on how to run an outstanding hotel in 2024.

Beautiful setting with lovely gardens and views. Very comfortable bedrooms and delicious breakfast. The staff are excellent in all areas especially Sinead at reception. Great location on the edge of Clonakilty town.

Firstly the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good. The hotel Is perfectly situated in the lovely town of Clonakilty . Bedroom a good size. Ensuite perfectly clean.
