IrelandWe weren't expecting breakfast included, but it was included and very good. The staff were all very polite and attentive, especially the lady who served us at breakfast and checkout. I had made a request through chat and was informed that they would do their best to accommodate my request. On the day of checking, the same lady called me to let me know that they would be able to accommodate my request and was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. There was nothing we didn't like.

United StatesFrom the first moment we walked in the door, we felt the great welcoming energy from the owner, Peter. He is so wonderful! The deluxe suite is gorgeous and actually better than the pictures! The bed was so comfy. We just came for a night out in Clon even though we live in Dunmanway, and this was the perfect spot..just a few minutes walk from our favorite pub and music spot, Casey’s. Will be back again!!

Great town. See the Michael Collins museum and story. Go to Dingle, it’s not far. Killarney is a half hour down the road, great little town. Go look into the Clonokilty Catholic Church downtown, it is magnificent.

Clonakilty is a beautiful town with great amenities and also you are only a short car ride to Inchadonny beach, Courtmacsherry was also beautiful and the Model Railway Station is ideal to pastime with children or even for the adults.

Great buzz in the town.
Great buzz in the town. We visited Clonakilty black pudding factory. We enjoyed the tour. Pauline looked after us very well . She is friendly & informative. We enjoyed the tea & breakfast food. We went back into the town to see the Twomey butcher shop. The square at the Michael Collins Statute is lovely there was market with interesting crafts.

Lovely town with shops and pubs lining the street - very walkable from the guesthouse . People are friendly which made my stay even nicer. Well worth visiting since there is a strong feeling of community and festivals throughout the year. I look forward to returning in the future!

Clonakilty was recommended to us by a friend as she had visited with family on a holiday. Loved this little seaside town, which had plenty to offer in the way of things to see and do. We could easily have spent a few days here happily, relaxing or looking for a bit to get out and do. I feel that as travellers on an international trip, it gave us a great opportunity to experience what I saw as the real Ireland - a true little town which held such history and a passion for its people. Would recommend anyone to go and spend some time there.

I was there to attend a wedding.
I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

What a lovely hotel set in stunning surroundings overlooking the bay, staff food and everything quality. When im working in Cork i would normally stay in a hotel in the town centre but they have got seriously expensive, this is where the Dunmore House Hotel comes into its element as you get a fantastic hotel with the personal touch in a stunning location at a cost less that you will pay in the town centre, well worth the extra few miles to drive

Hotel caters to families with young kids and, as such, is a lively and sometimes noisy place.
I love kids, but a suggestion to hotel management is that for evening dinner, older guests might be seated in a quiet location within the restaurant area.
On a positive note, the hotel staff were excellent, probably the very best I have ever experienced.
