This is the best location, minutes away from Temple Bar and O’Connell Street, on the River Liffey, and yet very quiet. The Zanzibar is spotlessly clean, the staff are great, and the decor is beautiful with a very cool vibe.

The location was great. Right in the heart of the city. There are lots of attractions nearby by walking distance. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, especially Bartley'z, just in the lobby of the hotel, hairy lemon, and bambino pizza. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Carmina (I hope I spelled it correctly) from the front desk, she is very friendly and has amazing communication skills. Special thanks to the breakfast team and specifically Jessica she was awesome every morning and always had a smile on her face and was very professional.

We flew overnight from Boston, Massachusetts and the hotel had our room ready early. We really appreciated that. The staff was outstanding in every area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. After walking around the city center, we came back to the hotel and enjoyed a late. snack and drink. One night we were too tired to go out so we ate dinner in the hotel and it was delicious and the service was great. The breakfast service was excellent.

Great History, Greenery & Pubs

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green spaces of any European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

As one of the youngest European cities, Dublin has vibrant nightlife with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish vacation, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, an independent apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.

I booked tours before I arrived in Dublin, doing local in Dublin, then the outskirts, then introduced the Celtic and history tours, and scenic longer tours. Then, with shorter tours finished up the day with touring local places like Christ Church Cathedral. All our time in Dublin was a full day, and so much more to see and plan to come back to see more. More tours exploring small villages would be great , some are so full of history. There is so much to see that one can't take it all in in a couple of weeks.

Loved it. People friendly. Full of history. Best to walk around to see it, not just go on a hop on/off bus. Dont think u have to stay right in the centre. We stayed about a 20 mins walk from the hub and found a great area full of character, bars, restaurants etc

My wife and I booked 6 months in advance and could not find anything below 150. Next time we will know to pay over 150 for a nicer hotel room with bathroom. Of course Dublin city centre is expensive however we should have paid 150-200 to ensure we had a nice room, bed, bathroom and cooked breakfast. We enjoyed Temple Bar area, The Christ Church pub, Molly's Bar 101 Francis St and visiting the Dublinia with the 11am free tour.

Loved Dublin .. we bought a Leap Card for the Bus and just jumped on/off wherever it took our fancy. We ate at many different pubs and they were all great. Lots of things to see and do - Temple Bar area, St Stephens Green, Trinity College, Guiness Storehouse, EPIC Museum, Ha'penny Bridge. Location is excellent in the city centre, staff were top class and the bedroom and facilities are really good. The valet service for car parking was an added bonus and for €25 was great value for city centre parking. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Trinity City hotel for anyone visiting Dublin who likes to stay in the city centre at an affordable cost in a really nice hotel.
