It is a nice, clean, cozy, newly renovated hotel with a super good location. It was pretty expensive, but it was worth it. Dublin, in general, is quite expensive for hotels. It has a well-sized shower and toilet room. The temperature was just perfect, and you could open a window to get some fresh air. It has a good bar and restaurant. Easy to access by taxi or public transport, about 5 min slight up-hill work from the bus stop. The staff was helpful and fully committed to resolving all issues or requests. Thanks to all!

The rooms were very well appointed: lots of power outlets, lots of storage spaces, robes and slippers, excellent shower, etc. The bed was very comfortable. The gym was better equipped than most typical hotel gyms. Staff was very helpful. It was nice to be able to get tea, coffee or a drink in the spacious lobby. While it is a bit out of the centre, it is right on the #16 bus route directly from the airport. A tram line is not far. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, It's also an easy walk to St. Stephen's Green and the Grafton Street area. The breakfast is very good, and one does not have to order the Full Irish: the Continental is half the price and offers a great spread of breads, meats and cheeses, fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Given the quality of this hotel, the room rates are an exceptionally good value for Dublin.

FAQs about hotels in Dublin

Great History, Greenery & Pubs

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green spaces of any European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

As one of the youngest European cities, Dublin has vibrant nightlife with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish vacation, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, an independent apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.

My first visit in more than 20 years - Dublin has changed a lot (esp the demographics and the cost of things!) It's much more international than before, and I had to hunt around for pockets of authenticity. On the other hand, the bridges over the Liffey, the craic, the pubs, the music, the stews and the Guiness are all still there. I loved the Chester Beatty - recommended to me by a born-and-bred Dublin taxi driver. Highly recommended.

I grew up with many fond memories of holidays visiting family in and around Dublin. I love the city, the closeness of both beaches and mountains. Dublin is now a real business hub which has made it far more diverse than when I was growing up, however, it maintains its friendly welcoming feel and is very easy to navigate. There is culture, scenery, beautiful parks, beaches, bars, music, shops - a lively and lovely city for a visit.

Dublin is a super city for a short break. Enjoy a Guinness. The Book of Kells was worth seeing. We enjoyed the LITTLE MUSEUM OF DUBLIN. The Green bus tour was great. Lots of information with humour and song! The Irish know how to welcome people. The High speed train up to Belfast is good value, clean and comfortable with good views.

i had a lovely long stroll through the rain along the River Liffey to see its many Beautiful Bridges singing Gene Kellys iconic "Singing in the Rain" & every other rain song i cld remember taking pics of the River, swans & the many wonderfully architectural / historic Buildings that align the rivers sides . Dublins many Pubs that are filled with their own character, warmth & charm, were made extra special by the Great Live Music of Fiddle, Guitar &Singing. There is loads to see and do in Dublin.

There is loads to see and do in Dublin. We went to celebrate a friends 40th so most of it was spent exploring the local, cosy pubs for a good pint of Guinness and traditional music. The nightlife in Dublin is amazing, Temple Bar is good to see for one but as everyone says it is geared up for tourist and you pay accordingly. You only have to venture a few streets back to find the lively bars where the locals go, and pay a much more reasonable price for a drink. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, our friend had a birthday badge on and everywhere we went he got offered a birthday pint by a stranger.

Dublin is wonderful but bring a boatload of euros because it’s expensive. The city is interesting, although a lot of gentrification and redevelopment going on, for better or worse. We really liked the hop-on, hop-off and went with Big Bus Tours for the 24 hours—would do the 48 hour option next time. It’s grand, as they’d say.

It was expensive considering it’s €17 Cab fare each way to the city. (Approximately 12-15 mins in car to city centre) very clean and comfortable though. Also cleaners were there dead on 11am and practically escorted us out the door, being in Ireland you would expect them to be a little friendlier, they barely said hi to us but walked out to lock the door after us, I found that strange for such a renowned friendly City such as Dublin.

Great stay in a cosy district. Clean hotel, fancy terrace on rooftop and much more. You can cook in big shared kitchens if yours in the apartment is too small for you. You can also enjoy the time in a living room located on each floor. Very kind and communicative personnel, and a good, cheap connection to city centre. Nothing more is required. I recommend this place for everyone visiting Dublin.
