United StatesThe property was absolutely beautiful, and it is in an amazing location. Gemma thought of everything and more. All essentials were provide - from dishes to tea - and she was very responsive leading up to our vacation. It was a treat to wake up and go upstairs to the family room and see the beautiful ocean and countryside.
The beach access is right across the street, and each morning, we walked around the village and on the beach. There are incredible historic sites in the area, and Gemma suggested several sites within just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage in the information book.
The pub within just a few yards of the cottage was an added bonus and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return again soon.

This is a lovely part of County Donegal.
This is a lovely part of County Donegal. Dungloe has some great pubs for drinks , food and entertainment. Waterfront hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the village. Would liked to have stayed for a 2nd night !!

There are a few winter activities to engage in here, especially if, like our family, you are an outdoor enthusiast who relishes spending time near the water and enjoys all types of weather.
We had our dinner in McCafferty's Bar & Restaurant (and it was good).

Beautiful place for the summer we went in September weather wasn't good ,people very nice .Had a lovely Chinese meal at the Golden Palace highly recommend it. So many beautiful beaches. Next time I'd go it would be summer .

We were there from our home in Scotland to view a property on the coast. Even though the trip was very focused, we saw beautiful scenery and had a great dinner. Going home via ferry, we drove up the coastal road before cutting across to Larne, breath taking views!

Love Dungloe, We dined at the Waterfront Hotel, just five minutes drive from the cottage. The food was excellent, the only thing we noticed was that the hotel was very understaffed, but 100% of all the staff on duty worked way beyond what should be required of them under normal circumstances.
Dungloe is a very easy town to navigate and is very well signposted from the approaching directions and the Town is very well sigh posted to enable uninterrupted navigation, The shore walk and the River walk are excellent. Plenty of exceptional pubs and entertainment.

Good location to explore Donegal.
Good location to explore Donegal. Small town friendly locals few places to eat eg; Mccafferty pub spacious good outdoor space good pub grub. Some great walking trails and great view of Dungloe bay limited things for kids not many shops or cafes

Lakeside cabin equivalent to a 4 star hotel.
Wonderful view of wild trout jumping in lake from window, framed by hills and trees. Majestic..
Accommodation very well set out, everything supplied, very clean and well furnished.
Perfect for dog owners.
Moya and David friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Moya even gave me free fly fishing lessons. 🐟🎣😊
Close to Dungloe, large town with several supermarkets, pubs and restaurants as well as large hotel overlooking the sea.
Fantastic walks and beaches close by.

Clean and well equipped. Warm and comfortable with up to date facilities (including wi-fi).
Lovely outdoor area for drinks/meals overlooking the lake.
Friendly and helpful hosts but privacy respected, and private parking at the door of property.
Easy access to Dungloe with pubs (music!), supermarkets, petrol stations etc..
Great base for visiting West Donegal eg Aranmore, Errigal, Glenveagh, etc..

Nice views from the house: you can see the sea through some of the windows! A central location in Donegal, right at the road that will bring you in all directions, and Dungloe is a convenient town to be based in. A lot of space in the house, it has everything you need. We had a wonderful stay, thank you so much!
