Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

IrelandI stayed at Tom Blake House recently as I was attending a function in the locality. This is a very charming property and very centrally located within Kells. Our guestroom was quite spacious and very tastefully decorated and the bed was large and very comfortable.
The hosts David and Avril were very welcoming and offered to drive us to the function we were attending, which we thought was very kind. We arrived early and they accommodated us which was very much appreciated.
For breakfast, there was a number of options. We opted for a traditional Irish breakfast which was absolutely delicious and the coffee was excellent,

Stayed in the headfort arms for our 12 year anniversary,...
Stayed in the headfort arms for our 12 year anniversary, arrived and was given an upgrade on our room we wore delighted! (we stayed in room 2). The lady at the reception checking us in was lovely very informative and had a laugh with us, I never caught her name unfortunately. We ate in the Vanilla Pod restaurant I'm sure it was called, the food, drinks and service wore lovely. Breakfast was fast and very tasty! Downfall unfortunately for us was our sleep, the windows in the room did let alot of street noise in and possibly heat out as it did get cold even with the rad on full. The pillows in our room wore awful, 4 pillows on the bed 2 of them folded like paper and the other 2 wore like a brick, we didn't get a good nights sleep at all sadly, we also had a coffee machine with plenty of options for tea & coffee but no cups in the room to make any. Due to the lack of sleep I'm not sure I'd come back to stay which is a same as the hotel itself is fabulous.

June was a wonderful host, the house was so warm and inviting when we arrived. Everything you could possibly need was there. We were a party of 7 for a family birthday and everyone loved the beautiful quiet location that was just a short drive to local amenities. Beds were hard to get out of they were so comfy. June really provides a beautiful home to stay in. I would highly recommend this gem in Kells.

Location is amazing and only a short distance from Kells town. Surrounding gardens and fields were beautiful. Great for the dog to explore and the venue is dog friendly.
