This place was in a beautiful countryside location, a short walk or drive from a stunning beach and view of the coast. A short drive to the Cliffs of Moher as well. The place was very well decorated and set up, with access to a shared space with coffee, views, couches, and games. The host was incredibly nice and informative and even made us a list of places to see and things to do on our next stop. We took her up on some of her recommendations and we’re not disappointed! Loved this place!

This location is absolutely fantastic and the owner is extremely nice and took extra time to get my wife and I into the cottage as soon as we could. We expected to be there early, and so the owner did extra work and got the cottage ready on time...then we hit traffic and we ended up being late. She was gracious about it and worked with us to get comfortable for the night and gave us some information on the location and what we could do, based on our interests. This is an absolute gem, both the owner (host) and the property!

Very spacious home. The laundry is located on the ground floor, while the bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom are upstairs, offering great views from the windows. Liscannor is a beautiful city with many great views.

Liscannor is a beautiful city with many great views. The coast is incredible and the people are so friendly. The Cliffs of Moher are another amazing plus. Saint Brigids’s well os nearby and was an interesting stop as well. We ate lunch at the Frantic Chef and dinner in Doolin nearby at Gus O’Conners- both of which we’re delicious!

It’s a charming little village …..with a beautiful /charming restaurant called “Vaughans” A little bit more expensive than the usual ……but so well worth it ……could not recommend this restaurant highly enough . Staff so lovely. It’s an experience. Please go there.

Liscannor is a perfect spot.

Liscannor is a perfect spot. Everything is on your doorstep and is somewhat quieter then Lahimch. There are a few bars and places to eat but there is nothing better to just sit down and enjoy a few pints with the most friendly people after a day of walking over the magnificent Cliffs on Moher or indeed any of the other major attractions in Clare

The Cottage was cozy, we had a slight mishap with getting...

The Cottage was cozy, we had a slight mishap with getting into the cottage on arrival, but within half an hour we were helped into the cottage. You get glimpses of the stunning ocean view from the kitchen and upstairs. The sliding door needs a little attention as it was very difficult to open, to such an extent that we just used the other door. The 2 rooms are cozy and spacious, not much room for clothing though and the wardropes was a little wobbly, as it would keep falling of the rails when you open them. There is only 1 shower and toilet in the cottage, on the ground floor, which is not great for going to the toilet at night, so just a heads-up for the elderly or folks with younger kids. The overall layout is very clever and neat. It was spotless and very cozy, once you left the property you have breathtaking views of the ocean. No shops or amenities that we could find that is in short walking distance, but close enough to get to with a car. Very quick to get to the cliffs of moher, which was the highlight of the trip, unfortunately the weather was not very pleasant, but still worth the trip. Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Liscannor is a small village with a a couple of Pubs and of...

Liscannor is a small village with a a couple of Pubs and of course the Anchor Inn - a great place to stay and eat. It is an ideal base to explore Clare and to visit nearby Lahinch and of course the Cliffs of Moher. We had the bikes and cycling in the area is relatively safe and a great way to see the local scenery. The Rock Shop is well worth a visit for either gifts or a coffee and snack.

Staff were welcoming and friendly - when I arrived the restaurant had closed for the night but they offered to get me food from the kitchen, which was appreciated. The food was very good, particularly if you like seafood - the fish pie was very tasty. The room was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony. The hotel is a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour at the end of the village street.

The room, check in homeade cookies, espresso maker in room, fantastic restaurant below and the pub nearby had great music on a Saturday night to enjoy. The location was on the coast, near cliffs of moher. Room was clean and rather updated with very nice bathrooms. Will visit again!
