Allihies is a lovely colourful little town with brightly coloured houses, a shop and pubs. The scenery is spectacular with a beach and stunning mountains where an old copper mine can be found. Great food in O’Neill’s pub and a smart coffee shop in the Copper mines museum.

Biased as my family come from the area.

Biased as my family come from the area. There is plenty to explore in the area from the mines to the strand. Dursey cable car is fun and nice walking on the island The local mine museum is good for rainy days. O'Neils bar has local traditional music every Sunday and in summer occasionally on Wednesdays and Thursdays The Dursey Deli in the village does excellent fish food in the evenings mostly landed that morning off the trawlers

Loved the village, The Copper Mine Museum is a must, as is the Beara Barista and Dursey Deli. Lots of nice eateries- mainly takeout. Lots of good walking trails. Lovely and quite when we went but probably very lively during the height of the season

Everything! The location is great ( not for the faint of heart though - the road to Allihies is rather challenging but worthwhile) The room is everything you can ask for after a long day: clean line design, comfortable and spacious. Mary is a great host, very accommodating, and the breakfast generous and varied. If we had the chance we would have stayed a whole week

The host, Mary, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! The B&B is located right on the Ring of Beara and the view from the property is exceptional. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.

An amazing location. It is a lodge not a hotel. It is make your own breakfast and not fancy. But we loved our time there. Jess was fantastic. O’Neills pub next door has fantastic musicians on Sunday nights.

The location is perfect for visiting an untouched part of West Cork. The owners were wonderful hosts - very friendly. Rooms were spacious, and breakfast options were great.

Such a wonderful hostess and clean, convenient property to explore the tip of the Beara peninsula. Pub next door is fun and views are gorgeous. Would stay again!
