Located 38 km from University of Limerick, Luxury Apartment - Idyllic Lake View Setting with Hot Tub offers accommodation in Nenagh with access to a hot tub. Margaret was a lovely host, the property had so many welcomed extras. The bed was SO comfortable and the shower was divine. We chose to order supper as an extra which was delicious. Due to poor weather we didn’t use the hot tub. We enjoyed the freshly baked Porridge Bread so much that I cheekily asked for the recipe. Highly recommended.

Set in Nenagh in the Tipperary County region, Entire Farmhouse in Tipperary features a patio and mountain views. The location is beautiful and peaceful. When you wake up you can only hear the birds and the distant mooing of the cows. Padraic is very friendly and helpful provided us with lots of usefull information. The house is clean, cozy with spacious rooms and provided us with everything we needed. We would definitely like to return.

Boasting free bikes, a fitness centre, and a garden, 5* Self Catering provides accommodation in Nenagh with free WiFi and mountain views. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The house was absolutely stunning and it was the added extra touches such as the food and wine provided that really made our stay. We could have stayed there for a week, what a beautiful house!
Staying at Old Farm was a fantastic experience as it is beautiful and cosy. Margaret and Alfie were very friendly and helpful. From the minute I arrived I was welcomed and they looked after me very well. All the guests become part of the family! Breakfasts, with fresh laid eggs and homemade bread and jams, and (optional) dinners with the hosts and other guests were a highlight. There was always excellent home-cooked food (with special attention to specific diets), great company, fun and interesting conversations. One day Alfie and a young girl guest made flat breads and a range of burgers, which was so nice to see and eat! Having the hens, ducks, lovable dogs and cats was a bonus. It's a very picture-book place, well positioned for access to many towns and sites of interest, but peaceful as a retreat too. I was also able to work online from there too. Can't wait to go back.
I loved Nenagh. My grandfather was from there. One thing I really like about Nenagh is the bustling high street full of authentic shops, and not loads of chain stores and identikit places like they have in the UK. It is a good place for people who like walking and outdoor activities.
Many stunning walks, of varying length, in Tipperary. Lots of pretty villages on the shore of Lough Derg. A fantastic preserved wetland to visit, manned by volunteers, and some wonderful old abbeys/ churches.
There are plenty of interesting places for visitors. Museum and tower. Genealogy centre with helpful staff. Helpful tourist office and friendly locals. A gluten free cafe on the high street. An amazing cafe/bookshop next to The church. Tasty coffee. Done independent shops.
Nice town with all the services you would want/need. We especially enjoyed the tour of the Heritage Centre. The lady conducing the tours was very personable and knowledgeable, this a definite highlight. Pantry Cafe serves great eat in or "take away" meals. Location was perfect for us to use as a base for travels throughout the area.
Nenagh Castle was free to visit. Alot of cafes and old quirky shops in the town. A good focal point to visit other places ie cliffs of Mohar 1hr 20mins Limerick 40mins (Dolans Pub grub excellent on docks road and trad music every night and child friendly staff are very nice) King johns castle well worth a visit entrance fee 13euro adult. but allow a couple of hours. Wild atlantic way route to Talbert to ferry as foot passenger is only 7 euro adult and kids under 13yrs free, only takes 20mins each way and 30mins between sailings. Also recommend the scenic drive around lough Derg but take a picnic as lots of places to stop.

The extra touches like lunch and breakfast packages on arrival. The cleanliness of the house and the grounds. The decor and comfort it really was our own private hotel. Perfect area for kids with sports facilities and a gym for the adults. Playground and plenty of space in the garden for kids to roam freely, bringing our dog made it so much easier to get away! The weather wasn't great but the house was so equipped with netflix and board games that it really didn't matter about the weather! Can't wait to return in the Summer!

This is a lovely place to stay and Margaret is a welcoming host who was very helpful. The apartment is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is not Nenagh town as comes up on the map though - it is Garrykennedy which is about 7 1/2 miles away and is a lovely country location beside a lake. There are two single beds rather than a double bed - there is also a couch in the living area so could potentially sleep three people.

Lovely location in rolling green fields about 5km from Nenagh centre. There was a shop nearby as well and there were two telephone boxes, one Irish, one English, opposite from each other. The owners William and Mary were so lovely and kind. The breakfast was like a mini banquet, the room was immaculate, fresh, calm and so comfortable. I loved the care and attention to detail. I felt very at peace there.

Me, my husband and our 2 girls aged 4 and 10 spent 2 nights in Wedgers hut. We really enjoyed our stay. The hut was well equipped and Bernie could not have done more for us... even sharing her hotdogs and ice creams 😋. The location is perfect for swimming at domineer pier and watersports. Nenagh Town is a short drive and has dunnes, tesco, aldi and lidl. Would highly recommend 👌 we will be back!
Declan was super efficient. Enjoyed my stay. Very relaxing. Had breakfast one morning which was very good indeed , including the VERY strong black tea which I requested. Lovely location, but had not time to enjoy it. A busy spot indeed, people coming from nearby town of Nenagh for breakfast and coffee at 11 which speaks for itself. Highly recommend a visit. I will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment! Is in a really great location just outside Nenagh with lovely views. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The hosts were very welcoming, accommodating with our arrival and even baked us some delicious brown bread. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!!

My family and I had a fabulous stay at the Waterside Cottages. The local pubs are fabulous with all the right procedures in place. The house was spotless and had had everything you would need to cook and enjoy your stay. The pier behind the house was stunning. Limerick and Nenagh are only a drive away. We will return.

Professionally run establishment. No personal idiosyncrasies of owner as you sometimes find in these places like knick-knacks in bedrooms.. Check in straightforward. Easy to find in centre of town. Quiet. No noisy wedding guests running around in the middle of night as you sometimes find in hotels
The location was great . beautiful old hotel .
