Extremely friendly staff with a warm welcome and the property itself has a very cozy ambience..To add on, the Christmas vibes were exceptional..We are a family of 4 including 2 children and on booking,a cot was requested. The staff was so kind enough to provide us with an extra cot and a baby cot as well!Plenty of linen provided as we usually end up having to request extra pillow or duvets for the toddler ,but here it was all perfect!Had a smart tv with all the apps and all in running.Must say i was impressed , given that kees is only a 3 star hotel,it sure did have more facilities than a 4 star.

What guests said about Raphoe:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 4.0

The image of the 'famous' landmark castle is so deceptive.

The image of the 'famous' landmark castle is so deceptive. This might be a very old or image with favouritism but the actual path is through scrubland that has rubbish tipped on it, overgrown and the castle itself is not presented well, cared for or easy to access. It's a drinking den and full of litter/rubbish. Very dangerous with broken glass everywhere and filth. Not suitable for anyone but especially those with disability, children or infirm. The town square is good and quaint but the town is generally really run down and many properties are derelict or empty. Really just for the one stone circle, it would be a ten minute stop off going to somewhere else. Wouldn't return here again.
