The house is fabulous. Old style cottage with modernized furnishings, but still retains its traditional character. Very clean, comfortable with an amazing view. There is an enclosed area attached to the rear of the cottage which has a hot tub and gas stove. Further back there is a green house with a wood burner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The Yellow Door Cottage is a real gem and a real find. Mark is great host and I highly recommend a stay there. 10/10

Colleen was an absolutely fabulous hostess. Even cleaned out here garage to allow bikes to park there overnight. Rooms very lovely decorated, in fact the whole house was. Breakfast was delicious Walking distance to pub for evening meal, close to Greencastle ferry

Breakfast was fabulous! The sunny breakfast room is nicely set up like a small cafe with a view through a large window. You can socialize with others if you want, or keep to yourselves. Our hostess was friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is a good central spot to explore the area. There's a large sitting room at the front of the house, with a fireplace, where it's nice to hang out, visit, read, plan your day or whatever.

    The convenience to Redcastle hotel meant dining out for a special meal was in easy reach of our lovely cottage as was their spa- where we availed of gentle head neck and back massage options, with a discount for early booking. It was tricky finding an ATM so we would recommend bringing cash and card. We enjoyed a great visit to Wild Ireland and were surprised just how close we were able to get to the rescue bears and wolves and wallaby. A bit further round the coast is the fabulous Kinnagoe Bay - great sandy beach and although the shore drops away sharply the sea was calm and clear so very good for experienced swimmers.

    This is a great place to stay, especially if you're travelling with a dog. Also the sea views are beautiful. It's the perfect location to explore Donegal by car. Lots of thoughtful extras in the accommodation and a great games room for travelers with children. Ideal for a family holiday.

    This was a fantastic little apartment! The location was absolutely stunning, and its proximity to the Red Castle Hotel was such a bonus. It was the ideal spot for a weekend getaway with kids. The apartment was cozy, well-maintained, and met all our needs perfectly. There’s genuinely nothing negative to report—everything exceeded our expectations. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient retreat.

    Eileen and Lawrence were the perfect hosts. We were made to feel so welcome. We were attending a wedding in the nearby Redcastle hotel and Eileen so kindly dropped us to the hotel once we had checked in and freshened up. We will definitely be booking to stay here again if we are in the area.

    Was attending a wedding in Redcastle Very close to Redcastle hotel. Eillen the hose was so lovely full of knowledge it was lovely seeing Ellen smile in the morning yes would recommend seawater you will have a lovely time.
