United StatesThe host was amazing. She gave us great meal recommendations that were close by. The bathroom towels were more like sheets! They were fabulous! she also had the softest rug in our room. She has a buffet breakfast with cereals, fruits and yogurt. She also served a hot breakfast starting at 8am. unfortunately we had to get on the road by 7:30 so we didn’t have it. She was sweet enough to make us some tea and toast to go with our cereal and yogurt. The location is great-just far enough out of Birr to be relaxing and close enough to get to town quickly. Highly recommended!

I liked Roscrea and I did not find anything negative.
I liked Roscrea and I did not find anything negative. Rackett Hall was an ideal location and great value to visit Birr Castle and heritage sights in surrounding towns. The food in Rackett hall was excellent and we did not find it necessary to eat elsewhere. Lovely little town.
Lovely little town. Seemed very bustling in the business area, and St. Cronan's Catholic Church was beautiful! Also did some hiking at Orange Hill. Our only disappointment was the Roscrea Heritage Center, which was closed for renovation, and we had hoped to get help there with ancestor information. Despite being closed, the director and assistant were very friendly and helpful and gave us some great Roscrea history. Enjoyed our visit to Leap Castle, too.Guest review byLynda

We enjoyed an amazing assortment of fresh fruit and cereals before a lovely cooked breakfast. We were delighted to happen across this excellent B&B as the local hotel had no availability. However, we would not hesitate in making this our first choice going forward if we were to stay in the area again. Hosts were really welcoming and went the extra mile for us.
