My mum forgot her watch and he kindly posted it to us. Truly lovely place to stay, my dog was welcomed as one of the family. Hot water, clean room, comfy bed, quiet and friendly

Featuring amazing views of the River Barrow and the surrounding countryside, the Glenbarry B&B offers free WiFi and free onsite parking. Situated in New Ross, it is just 24 km from Waterford. Margaret and Ger were very friendly and attentive. My room was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast area had really stunning views over their garden and across the river. Margaret had some of her own brown bread and the selection of fruit in the fruit salad was quite extensive. The town centre was only ten minutes walk away

Nice town and easy to get around .People in town friendly and very helpful.Nice relaxed atmosphere in the town. The shops are nice and well laid out with good stock for a town its size.Business People are making a good effort to attract customers. We all need each other now and hopefully locals as we as visitors will spend a bit extra this year in the local economy and stay off the online shopping for a while.Loyalty is hugely important now.New Ross has the goods and just needs the necessary support all round
A quaint little town with lots of history. Enough to see to keep you busy in town and the surrounds. Definitely worth the visit. Walking around is easy to moderate. Some parts are quite hilly. Loved the Dunbrody Experience
not much to do in the way of evening entertainment during the day lots of historic interesting venues to see really beautiful spot. The attention to detail in the famine ship and the Ross tapestry along with the excellent cafes to eat really a shame it is not carried on into the evening.Lovely place to spend a day or two.
I loved the area and there are many things to do - I went to the Kennedy Homestead, Th Famine Boat Exhibition, and, further afield, the Hook Lighthouse. I spent time in Wexford at the Opera Festival, which was the main purpose of my visit. Near to there is the wonderful Johnstown Agricltural Museum and the beautiful Curracloe Beach. Waterford and Kilkenny Castle are on the list for my next visit!
Loved the famine ship, especially at night when it's illuminated. Nice coffee shops and restaurants/bars, especially in atrocious wet weather. Really liked the food in Kennedy's Boutique hotel bar.
Visit the Green Door pub on Mary Street, opposite the Inishross B&B where we were staying - very friendly and loved the décor. Also try the Captains's Table at the Dunbrody experience - the chowder was amazing and very filling.
We usually stay in a hotel when we visit but on this occasion it was full so we googled BnB in the area. Beaufort house was indeed a great choice, Margaret was a fantastic host, warm and accommodating. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning. Parking was always available. We felt very content and we enjoyed the smaller more intimate atmosphere compared to a big busy hotel. We would definitely opt for for Beaufort House on our next visit and look forward to enjoying the Irish hospitality again soon. Until next time.... Thank you - go raibh maith agat
