The Haven is a gem of a period hotel overlooking the Dunmore East coastline with spectacular views from the front bedrooms, which I strongly recommend staying in. Our seaview room was jaw-droppingly beautiful, and we were allowed to access it much earlier than advertised. Big bonus points there. We didn't try the restaurant, as we had made plans to meet friends elsewhere, but judging by the delicious breakfast, we'll tick that box next time. PS the staff were brilliant and made our short stay all the more enjoyable.

We felt super welcomed by our hosts, Enda and Martin, and from the moment we walked into the front door, I knew it would be a fantastic stay. From the abundance of natural light, to minimalist decor and all the extras you could ask for. It's as though the hosts really put so much thought into making their guests as comfortable as possible. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was so elegant and clean. The breakfast was equally matched with natural light, local fresh jams, fruits and other condiments, along with a delicious fully cooked breakfast all while listening to the magic of Frank Sinatra singing good morning to you? I have to admit, I could have just stayed right there for the whole day!!

Everything was wonderful from the first call we made to let them know we will be arriving late, as we were waiting for our flat tire to be fixed, to the morning we left, The genuine concern and caring about our situation was very heartwarming, and their friendliness was appreciated. Breakfast was great, beds were very comfortable, rooms were spotless. Evening tea and biscuits were always welcoming us which was a very nice touch. We hope to return again!

it was very quiet and peaceful, and decorated beautifully, the whole upstairs floor had a nice seating area. The proprietress,Anne was lovely and a very gracious hostess. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The sun glowing across the bright green fields; the sound and smell of the sea riding on the breeze; the shady willow tree bursting with you g life, including very diligent parents feeding their nest if baby crows; and charming, accommodating hosts who thought of everything. Amazing food in Fethard, ranging from the best fish and chips ever, to a grand Sunday roast and fabulous high end Mediterranean at Georgio's - even Dillon's shop has everything a body could need. I will return!
