ItalyAdorable area outside of Dublin. It was a 20 minutes drive from the airport so we used it after arriving late at night, great they had a night porter. The room was comfortable and the manor has a nice Victorian walled garden we strolled in in the morning. Breakfast was nice too

United StatesI have family in town and we always stay at the Springfield. Did notice a change in management etc, always a great stay but this time was exceptional. Food was as always great. Plan to continue using this hotel on every visit to Leixlip. It would make more sense to stay at an airport hotel the night before we fly home but I love this hotel and will continue to always stay there. Thanks for consistently excelling in every way.

Loved the breakfast buffet!
Liked the gym. Could I suggest the hotel buy a Treadmill? There are only Precor machines. Also, kettlebell weights.

IrelandThe most stunning place I’ve been to! It felt like we were in a little fairytale village! The grounds are gorgeous! The breakfast was delicious with so much choice and in a beautiful room! The spa was pure bliss, so relaxing and cosy. My therapist Claire was exceptional, she went above and beyond! Thank you again.
The lady at reception (so sorry I can’t remember her name, she had blonde hair) was so friendly and made our experience even better, she also upgraded us for my sisters birthday which was such a lovely gesture and made our stay even more special!
The on-site cafe was amazing, so handy to have whenever we fancied a hot drink and bite to eat. You never needed to leave the grounds as it had everything you could need.
It’s was honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I can’t wait to come back!!!

Golden Dawn accommodation is located at end of Rathcoole village just off main Cork Dublin M7 motorway on edge of Dublin City.
A highly recommended location for those needing to go airport next day (simply drive on M7 towards M50 Ring Road and continue to airport).
Dined at The Poitin Still pub restaurant 1.5km away - famous place, recommended for food - much history in the pictures and plaques on walls - a local crowd, not touristy. The Rathcoole Inn is another good food & drink place.
Local area feels "rural" with nice wooded parks for walking, away from the city.

it was a terrible experience, on booking.com the distance into town was incorrect it cost €35/€40 to get a taxi into town and it was a 20 min walk away from the closest luas stop. the hotels staff didnt have a clue what they were doing, it was like staying in "Fawlty Towers". The food was horrible I wouldnt even give it to a dog. The bar was a disgrace it they had to go to keep running into the hotels restaurant which was across a courtyard to get what everyone wanted. It was the worst experience of my life.

The guest house was spotlessly clean.
We received a warm welcome from the young lady at reception, she was very obliging and gave us some suggestions for places to visit.
Secure parking was no trouble at all for two motorcycles, with space for more, out of sight from the main road.
Great location, not too far from Dublin port, perfect for our onward journey. Good vibe from the neighbourhood when we went out for food.

This was a great place to stay about half an hour or so from the port of Dublin. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Our host Sonia was brilliant throughout. A really good buffet breakfast was on hand the next morning.

Breakfast was very nice , plenty of variety
