We loved the facility and its owners. It is exceptionally clean, well furnished, and warm. Our bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and included eggs, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea and wonderful conversation. The grounds of the B&B are delightful and include cows.

I stayed with friends and family on the night before my wedding. The cabins were absolutely gorgeous, tidy and comfortable. We had milk, bread and other bits left by the owner which was lovely. We cooked dinner & breakfast. All facilities were perfect.

Beautiful House! A stunning drive-in approach with a pleasant and helpful staff waiting for you. All of the common areas are comfortable and decorative . We loved walking around the streets, the shops and pubs.

We loved walking around the streets, the shops and pubs. It reminded us of how quaint England was about 30-40 years ago. There wasn’t any litter, no graffiti. The people were friendly. A lovely place with lots of things to do. We really enjoyed our visit to Kenny & Co cafe opposite the Bounty Bar. The Bounty Bar had a great atmosphere at night.

My visit to Trim on August 8–9, 2025, was an absolute delight! This charming heritage town in County Meath is a hidden gem that blends rich history with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight for me was exploring Trim Castle, a stunningly preserved Norman fortress with breathtaking views from the keep—its history and grandeur are truly captivating. Wandering through the town’s quaint streets, I loved the cozy vibe of local cafes and pubs, where friendly locals added to the charm. The River Boyne walkway was perfect for a peaceful stroll, with beautiful scenery and a serene ambiance. Trim’s compact size made it easy to explore, yet there was so much to see, from the ancient ruins of the Yellow Steeple to the vibrant community spirit. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a relaxing getaway, Trim is a must-visit destination. I’d rate this trip a 9/10 and can’t wait to return!

Great location to stop for one night after flying into...

Great location to stop for one night after flying into Dublin and heading over to Doolin. We were able to walk around the town and see the castle and the trail that runs along the river is beautiful.

Easily the most rounded town I have ever visited for a vacation. There was everything I could need there in order to support a trip, plenty of unique accommodations, dozens of attractions for free/cheap, and more than enough local places to grab a bite to eat! The public transportation is as good as you would expect, but just about everything is a casual walk away from the center of the town.

Give some time to this compact town brimming with history. A wonderful brochure is produced to explain the many historic landmarks and a circuit to tour them by car. So much going back to early Christianity and the powerful families who built Trim Castle and other structures. Plenty of good food and just a great vibe overall.

This is a friendly, cosy hotel and bar. The staff are extremely helpful and really make you feel special. All the food we ordered was very reasonable and tasty. Breakfast portions are quite big, and they have no problem with changes and offer extra tea and coffee. Live music in the evening is loud but entertaining and gets everyone in form. I would definitely stay again.

Location was perfect. Beautiful old house, outstanding really. The host was charming and helpful. My room and bathroom were large and very comfortable. Microwave and fridge available on my floor [first]. Well maintained property and the gardens were really beautiful. Across the road from Trim Castle and a short walk to pubs.
