Offering a la carte restaurant, Aherne's is located in the seaside town of Youghal in County Cork on Ireland's beautiful south coast. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi access is available. What a great little hotel, awesome food and excellent staff, so friendly. Location perfect
Set in Youghal, County Cork region, Summerfield Lodge B&B is located 800 meters from Youghal Front Strand. Located around 1.9 km from St. Exceptionally clean and the hostess was very helpful and friendly. Great view at breakfast. We couldn't fault it.
Located at the entrance of Youghal Harbour, Avonmore House B&B B&B is set in a Georgian house, on the grounds of a former Franciscan Abbey. Mary & John, thank you very much for hosting us during our 3 night stay in Youghal. Thank you for your warm care, friendly chats and delicious breakfasts! (especially John's oat bread 😋) The Avonmore B&B is a definitely place to stay when visiting Youghal! Perfectly located with a short distance to the beach and touristic attractions. A charming old building with its own history, will take you to the 18th century ;) Mary & John are the nicest hosts I've ever meet when traveling in Ireland - I could talk with you guys for hours and there would be always something else to talk about :) I will definitely return on my next visit in Youghal! Kindly Regards Joanna
Located in Youghal, just 750 metres from Youghal Front Strand, Youghal provides beachfront accommodation with a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. The location of the property couldn't be better. The town of Youghal with all of it's shops and restaurants is an easy walk in one direction and the beach is right outside your door in the other direction.
Youghal was a lovely town with lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Signs indicate that a parking disk is required but the Tourist Board told us when we were there that parking was free everywhere. Would be sensible to check if this is still the case.
Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town. The newly extended boardwalk makes for a scenic walk. There is a long beach with some great views all year long. Had breakfast in a little cafe named 'Sage'. Had a full Irish breakfast for €10. I could not recommend this cafe more.
Youghal is a busy town, lots of shops and places to eat.lovely to walk around and sit looking out at the sea. Was sad to see that a no. of shops are closing down, obviously the result of COVID 19. Smashing little cinema there too.
Beautiful town, incredible history. Loved the St Mary's Collegiate Church and the architecture of the town in general. Warm and friendly people. Lovely beach. Great fish in Aherne's restaurant.
We enjoyed a day visiting Youghal itself and its old part steeped in history .New boardwalk very comfortable underfoot with a lovely sea breeze .Ahearne's seafood restaurant was exceptional fabulous food ,really friendly staff and great out door dining .
Lovely town, easy to walk around with lots of interesting places to visit. Good restaurants. Some closed on Monday and Tuesday so need to check ahead. Lots of free parking for 2 hours at a time. The beach and boardwalk on Youghal Front Strand are great for lovely walks during the day and in the evening. Good range of shops and supermarkets. At Mary's Collegiate Church was beautiful and we availed of the Audio Tour which was really interesting.
The view from the balcony is spectacular! We loved having our morning tea sitting on the porch. The hosts are very personable and attentive. We only stayed one night on our way from on place to another, but would have enjoyed having more time. Youghal is a great village with an interesting history and plenty of places to visit. Also enjoyed the local restaurants. Looking forward to visiting again!
We stayed at Avonmore for 2 nights. The breakfast at this B & B was exceptional. Beautiful food so well prepared and presented. It set us up for the day. John and Mary were lovely hosts and were very welcoming and friendly. Bed was so comfy and the room very spacious. We also enjoyed the outside garden space on a lovely sunny evening - which had very pretty lights at night time.
The view was amazing, the property was very close to town, and everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Barbara is an excellent cook and had great recommendations for dining as well as where to listen to traditional music ("The Nook"). I would highly recommend this property, as well as the town of Youghal, for those visiting this area of Ireland.
Loved this apartment. It had everything you could need and very clean. Staff were so friendly/helpful and the little touches were lovely. It’s close to the beach/town so perfect location. If you head to Youghal it’s a must to stay here.
The location of the property couldn't be better. The town of Youghal with all of it's shops and restaurants is an easy walk in one direction and the beach is right outside your door in the other direction.
Joannas place was perfect for us. Walking distance from all that Youghal has to offer. Extremely clean with lots of toiletries and small eats left out to add even more to our stay.
Youghal is a pleasant coastal town. The food at Ahernes is of high quality, though some of the staff serving it could adopt a friendlier disposition.
Best place to enjoy Youghal town and the great pubs along Main Street.
The hotel was gorgeus and the staff was lovely
