This friendly hotel has lovely views over the sea and estuary and offers good-value food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork City and Cobh. Breakfast was great and we had it on the balcony in the sun. Very nice.

The food was amazing especially for those that love seafood and the breakfast was super with a fabulous menu. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable. All the staff lovely and friendly and the lovely fire lighting in the cosy area, just what you would want in January. Could not have picked a better place for a night away. Will be back again for sure.

(especially John's oat bread 😋) The Avonmore B&B is a definitely place to stay when visiting Youghal! Perfectly located with a short distance to the beach and touristic attractions. A charming old building with its own history, will take you to the 18th century ;) Mary & John are the nicest hosts I've ever meet when traveling in Ireland - I could talk with you guys for hours and there would be always something else to talk about :) I will definitely return on my next visit in Youghal!
