Prior to our arrival, they responded promptly to my inquiry about the best way to get to their property from the railway station. Once we arrived, they addressed all our concerns about navigating the city and potentially challenging situations with persistent rickshaw drivers and tourist guides. They also provided us with great suggestions on how to maximize our visits to Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant food and ambience were great as well. We only had one night in Agra, but we would have loved to stay longer at this hotel if possible. We would stay here on future visits, and would readily recommend Hotel Tourist Rest House to anyone visiting Agra.

In our one-and-a-half-day stay in Agra, we explored the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri—three iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites celebrated for their history, beauty, and grandeur.
The Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is a breathtaking white marble mausoleum adorned with intricate inlay work in multicoloured precious stones. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, it stands as a timeless symbol of love and a masterpiece of Mughal architecture.
The Agra Fort, a massive 16th-century fortress built by Emperor Akbar, served as both a military stronghold and royal residence. Its imposing red sandstone walls and elegant marble palaces reflect the power and artistry of the Mughal dynasty.
The Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s “City of Victory,” is renowned for its striking red sandstone structures that blend Hindu and Islamic styles. Once the Mughal capital, it was later abandoned due to water scarcity but remains a stunning testament to Akbar’s vision.
All three sites are meticulously preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India and continue to draw visitors from around the world year-round.

Agra the Taj Mahal, must watch, too much checking, agra fort ( full of rush), 26kms far fatehpur sikri, is a good place to watch, but too much charge is taken by the guide's contractor to make us see the place otherwise anyone can see it by paying only ₹50 and ₹40 to and fro electric auto charge. In total u can visit it by paying ₹90 and guid charge individually u can bear in 300inr, depends on our need. But inside the premises many other scams are doing with the visitors like photography scam, offering scam to the chisti's remembrance, etc. too much beggars.

Barring the tourist spots, the city as a whole needs much attention to cleanliness. Pestering of tourists by guides, most of whom are fake guides, needs to be curbed. The access area of the Agra fort, which is one of the most popular historical monument, should be steered clear of hawkers and the area tidied for a more pleasant experience

Agra is a lovely city steeped in legendary history.
Agra is a lovely city steeped in legendary history. There are so many incredible places and monuments to explore, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the majestic Taj Mahal.
I highly recommend that everyone visit the Taj Mahal at least once in their lifetime. It’s an unforgettable experience that truly lives up to its global reputation.

IT is great place to know about history if Bharat, but the guides there are mis guiding and edifying the Mughals & Muslims. majority guides are momedan and are pro Mughals invaders this is what i felt and experienced. examples of Mis information being spread is - Agra Fort was built by Akbar, however the truth is it was built by Rajputs, & was called Badalgarh, which was captured by Mughals

Convenient location for visiting Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Nice roof terrace and pool area, although no time to use it as too busy sightseeing!
Club room access to residents lounge was nice.
The food at the in house restaurant
Daawat-e-Nawab was fantastic, best thing about the hotel. A good place to go eat even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
Staff efficient and friendly.

Excellent budget hotel - great location near Taj Mahal. Staff were terrific, provided information, safety advice, and were very responsive by WhatsApp when we needed help. They were very generous about letting us check out late. A/C was great, breakfast was great. There was a nice sitting room on the second floor where we ate.

This is a family run hotel. Everyone is very friendly the rooms are immaculate and the food which is prepared on site is superb. This hotel would suit any type of traveller including families. It is close to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Local transport is either a taxi or Tuk Tuk.

We are very happy to stay at Goyal Hoteliers. The room was very comfortable, and the food was also tasty. There is a 24 hours hot water facility, which is very necessary. It is located near Taj Mahal, so sightseeing becomes very easy.
