Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

This was a great place to stay - the staff were all very friendly, capable, and attentive. Prior to our arrival, they responded promptly to my inquiry about the best way to get to their property from the railway station. Once we arrived, they addressed all our concerns about navigating the city and potentially challenging situations with persistent rickshaw drivers and tourist guides. They also provided us with great suggestions on how to maximize our visits to Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant food and ambience were great as well. We only had one night in Agra, but we would have loved to stay longer at this hotel if possible. We would stay here on future visits, and would readily recommend Hotel Tourist Rest House to anyone visiting Agra.

The access area of the Agra fort, which is one of the most popular historical monument, should be steered clear of hawkers and the area tidied for a more pleasant experience

Agra is a lovely city steeped in legendary history. There are so many incredible places and monuments to explore, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the majestic Taj Mahal. I highly recommend that everyone visit the Taj Mahal at least once in their lifetime. It’s an unforgettable experience that truly lives up to its global reputation.

IT is great place to know about history if Bharat, but the guides there are mis guiding and edifying the Mughals & Muslims. majority guides are momedan and are pro Mughals invaders this is what i felt and experienced. examples of Mis information being spread is - Agra Fort was built by Akbar, however the truth is it was built by Rajputs, & was called Badalgarh, which was captured by Mughals

The breakfast and dinner spread was extravagant, offering a mind-blowing variety of cuisines—Indian, Continental, Asian—each dish more delicious than the last. Every bite was finger-licking good, leaving me craving more. Beyond the exquisite food, what truly touched my heart was the kindness and warmth of the staff. From the reception to room service and the restaurant, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special shoutout to Chef Parveen and Chef Ravi, along with their incredible team, for crafting such delectable dishes and treating us with unmatched hospitality. The Taj Mahal is undoubtedly the main attraction but it...

The Taj Mahal is undoubtedly the main attraction but it eclipses two not to be missed sights: Itmad ud Daula's tomb and Fatehpur Sikri. The former is amazing in its intricate work and is a monument on which the design of the Taj Mahal was based upon. Fatehpur Sikri should be visited in the early hours to avoid the heat. It needs 4 hours to see. Opening at 6 am, I advise leaving Agra at 5 am to reach early and get good light for photos. Ask the hotel to pack your breakfast as theres not much to eat there.

I liked the culture and the city of Agra. All staff were very kind and accommodating. They work hard and try to please every guest. They very helpful when they come to tours and places to visit and eat. There shop that they have is very reasonable and quality. Id recommend supporting them as the items they sell are beautiful. They even manage to book a train for me to Jaipur which helped us out alot on our trip. Very good team at Hotel Raj Resort

The hotel is located very close to the Tajmahal. The rooms were surprisingly spacious. The font desk infact gave us an upgrade on request. The restaurant carries a good spread of Indian and continental cuisine. The hotel has a small pool amidst a nice garden area, which provides a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and room service was good. Overall a good hotel to stay during your visit to Agra.

This budget hotel is run by the family owner in a wonderfully modernised property. The rooms are well appointed and mine had a facilities to make coffee in the room. She offers home made dinner in the evening which is was delicious. There is rooftop bar overlooking Agra.
