It is a petty decent place, with quite a few heritage places to visit (it typically depends on personal likings), proximity to sea beaches though Kashid beach looks out to be more cleaner. Basic infra is okay, ovrall peaceful, embedded by nature, and better air quality

It's a small coastal hamlet.
It's a small coastal hamlet. You must try the local cuisine at joints in the town like Salman among others. The beach is OK. Kashid beach, which is further south (~35km) is a better whiite sand beach Its a nice place to unwind over the weekend. Nothing much to do. Beaches are nowhere comparable to Goa. Property choices are also few and far between. We went into town for a meal (restaurant was recommended by the Hotel) and it was quite ordinary.

Beach to chill and enjoy.
Beach to chill and enjoy. The water is not too clear and beach is a little crowded on weekends. But must for first timers. You can have a nice evening stroll and eat at stalls nearby. Colaba fort is just 10mins walk after a low tide in the evening. Varsoli beach is much cleaner and has a wider horizon to enjoy with a nice green trees view. Enjoy sunset there. It's hardly 15mins by auto from Alibaug Beach.

You must must have your own transportation as it is quite isolated and must be 200% sure about the hotel you are booking or you could be conned.Wear proper footwear coz the beach streches quite a bit.

Easy to reach from Mumbai.
Easy to reach from Mumbai. Green, tropical, beaches, silent and good. Away from city life. Casa Mae has good restaurant being pure vegetarian. The Deli is great place for food near Chondi bazaar. Terra by Sorentina is a good place too to visit for food. Restaurants by Flambyont- Fountain sizzler & boardwalk both are excellent joints for delicious food.Divabhi29India

Only veg food is allowed inside the property and it's a must visit for the Jain's as it's one of the only properties with such a facility. The property is kept very clean including the swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and co-operative specially Mr.Vishwas. The nearby beaches to visit are Nagaon and Akshi which can be reached in 10 mins and Alibaugh and Varsoli beach is approx 30 mins from here.DhokaIndia

The pool was clean and beautifully maintained. The food quality is amazing. Staff was attentive and very prompt in service. Even the owner is very supportive.
