IndiaI recently stayed at Hotel Ayodhya International and had a truly wonderful experience. As a solo female traveler, safety was my top priority, and I’m happy to share that this hotel provided a very safe and secure environment throughout my stay.
The staff was extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, making sure all guests felt at home. The hotel is located near Rampath, right on the Sahadatganj Bypass which conveniently connects to the Ayodhya-Lucknow Highway, making travel easy and hassle-free.
One of the best things about this hotel is that it offers easy access to all major attractions of Ayodhya – including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and more. Whether you are here for spiritual reasons or just to explore the heritage of Ayodhya, this hotel is a great base.
The food here is another highlight – delicious, hygienic, and freshly prepared. You can really taste the local flavors, and the service is quick and courteous.
What impressed me the most is that the hotel offers transportation facilities for guests, including pickups and drops to Ayodhya Cantt Station and the Ayodhya Bus Depot, which is a big convenience, especially for outstation travelers.
Though it offers a luxurious and comfortable stay, the pricing is very reasonable – you get a luxury experience without paying a luxury price, which makes it totally worth the money.
In short, if you're looking for a safe, comfortable, and value-for-money hotel in Ayodhya, I highly recommend Hotel Ayodhya International. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

As a passport holder NRI, we were given priority darshan.
As a passport holder NRI, we were given priority darshan. There was no need to take any VIP online pass or do any registration. It's better to take a guide with you. There are strict multiple security checks and you can leave your bags, mobiles in safe custody as these are not allowed inside the temple.

Visit to Ayodhya is always devotional visit, and everyone visiting Ayodhya is to get Shri Ram Darshan! We had Sugam Darshan of Shri Ramlala after our arrival in Ayodhya around 5:00 pm and to our surprise, we got passes for next morning Mangal Aarti starting at 4:00 am morning. We were blessed with a close darshan along with Mangal Aarti of Lord Bhagwan Shri Ram. हम सबने भगवान श्री राम लला के जी भर के दर्शन किए! We all got prasad after the Aarti.
We had opportunity to take part in Saryu River Evening Aarti along with Grand scene of lighting of 29 lacs (2.9 million) Diyas! We all were impressed with the Diwali lighting and decoration over Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.
Udipi Restaurant near the Ram Mandir is a nice and clean place to get all varieties of food.

Leave you attitude at home. Nobody can visit Ayodhya without a call from Lord Ram. Go with ultimate simplicity. Whatever you get there is your worth estimated by God.
I liked self discipline of the crowd and politeness of Police.
Visit Sita Rasoi and donate for free food for all. Don't entertain beggers.
Taste "Ghurra Litti-Chokha", I went back to my village life after having it. If possible, Carry Homemade Ghee with you.
Use Rapido for travel places. Young are coming Ayodhya and working as Rapido captains to livelihood and self financed pilgrimage. HELP THEM.
Please dont use VIP SERVICES in temples. It doesn't help anybody. Its a racket which you will promote unwillingly.
Prefer Home stays run by young boys. I booked "Maa Bhagwati Homestay" run by a nice young boy and his mother.
I got prasad from an old lady for Hanuman gadhi. The genuine "ghee ke Laddu".
Pay ₹100 to Wheelchair service providers on the behalf of disabled grand parents of poor families who leave their parents waiting in E-Rickshaws and go for visiting temples in No ENTRY areas.
Must Visit "Mani Parvat" and come to know how much Rajarshi Janak and Raja Kushdhwaj loved his daughters, Maa Sita, Urmila, Mandvi and Shrutikirti.

Ayodhya was my first visit after transformation and establishment of Ram Mandir.
Locals confirm that from an ignored and unattended religious pilgrimage, it has been transformed into an international tourist attraction.
Deeputsav and Deewali celebrations here must be one of its kind. Ram Temple looks incomplete though open to public. One can see the construction going on and imagine when complete it would be no less than Heavenly site.
Very well managed/organised darshan process and online booking for easy & VIP kind entry. One has to have 15 days advance booking for that.
All Ghats are being renovated and extended.
Govt. combination of Modi & Yogi have brought this dream to reality for Hindus.
Commercial & tourism potential is very high.
An international airport, renovated Rly Stn and arrangements of security etc all appreciable additions to bring this sleepy/old village like site into a vibrant tourist center.
10 years hence when the temple should be complete and in its full glory, we can expect the infrastructure to further improve and improvise.
Ayodhya still has the rudimentary population engaged in conventional rituals. But new Business centres, Five star Hotels and commercial establishments now coming up, the new generation would enjoy Ayodhya as a glorious pilgrimage in times to come.
