The Jawai Dam catchment area has a number of villages around its border. Bijapur is a very nice village nestled in the foot hills close to the catchment area. Unless you are a stickler for luxury, I suggest you partake of the experience of a Home Stay - at the - Jawai Wild Lodge. Our host Rajveer Singh Ranawat, and his family are very welcoming, we felt like a part of the family while at the property. After eating at the Jawai Wild lodge, we decided against going to any other restaurants. The meals were home-cooked, simple yet delicious homely flavors, large portions. With very first step you are in property , you become part of Mr. Pradeep's Family. Family is very welcoming and caring . Food is exceptionally tasty and Location is surrounded by farming land and Rocky mountains in front . From terrace you can see huge mountains just 40-50 feet away. We could spot leopards on mountains just outside home. This property is best if you are travelling with female companion or a foreign origin . Don't hesitate go without second thoughts .
