Good area for restaurants and bars! The beach also has very good restaurants and bars with reasonable prices! A good place to relax and enjoy drinks and the sunset. I wouldn't recommend getting in the water since there is a lot of trash, and animals pooping everywhere....not good!

This is my 2nd stay in Candolim, before that I have stayed in Calungute. Calungute is crowded now days, though Candolim is not. You may find some beaches which are even lesser crowded. In Candolim you can do all the water sports.

We arrived at 9 am in Golden Tulip Candolim Goa.
We arrived at 9 am in Golden Tulip Candolim Goa. As the check in time was 3pm I had messaged the hotel about checking in early to which the reply was according to availability it can be arranged. I asked the guy at the reception about our room. He replied it is getting ready. He never told me it will take upto 3 pm to get the room. I was travelling with wife and two kids aged 3 and 10. After charging my credit card for the stay for 3 nights about 46000, he told me to get breakfast after which room will be ready. The breakfast was chargeable. After breakfast we were told to wait. it was about 10: 30 by that time. I asked again about room and then he said check in time is 3 pm and he will try to give the room before that. I told him if I can cancel and he said cancellation can be done but there is no refund. I waited till 11 am after which I lost it. I gave them a peace of my mind. After some pressurising the room was ready by 11 30 am. I had thought the worst is over. Alas no. The wifi was not working. I phoned the reception and he told that I am connecting too many devices. I was only trying to connect my phone. He said he will try and till 3pm there was no internet. Once internet was accessible it was generally hit and miss. The speed was abysmal. If I ask the reception they will give another username and password and it will work for sometime. The 4G is not good in this particular location. I have stayed in many places in India and abroad and this was my worst experience. I asked to book a cab for which he asked me to get it outside. Meanwhile this superstars name is Suraj Some good things about this place Rooms are pretty neat and spacious, bathrooms are good, location is great. I would advise to stay away from this place esp if you are arriving early. And specifically ask about the internet.

Lively place. Since I've travelled for many beach holidays I wasn't very impressed with the fact that the property has no views of the beach. With the exorbitant rates I was expecting a much better property.

People, people and people. We visited many places, beaches, churches, Old Goa, Penha de França, Ilha do Chorão, Margão market, Goan houses (Figueiredo House, Chandor), museums (Goa Museum), Fort of the 3 kings, Fort Aguada, Pangim, but, in the end, it was all about people. Beach is walkable distance and candolim market places are near by, good resturants also available. All good beaches of north goa are accessible from this place. I suggest everyone reading my comments to stay in SkyView Villa, Miss Corean is a very good and friendly person, she takes care of cleanliness of the home during your stay and can provide contact details of needed taxis and riksha. enjoy and stay safe.

I stayed at Villa Verediana for a few days! It was hands down an amazing stay! Beautiful cozy rooms with great patio and terrace. Definitely the best option for a budget trip in North Goa (Candolim). But the best part is the service of the home stay! Gulzar bhaiya was so so so sweet as he helped me plan a surprise for my friend. He was constantly available through the day for any help and was very prompt. 11/10 from my end!! ♥️
