I can't say enough good things about this stay - the staff was phenomenal and treated me like a queen. They were so friendly and helpful, had everything I could possibly need, and made sure that I was safe throughout the entire stay. After going through the old reviews, I was hesitant and even considered cancelling my reservation. However, after learning that the hotel has now been taken over and managed by Meritas Hotels & Resorts, I decided to give it a chance—and I’m glad I did. A special thanks to Ms. Teresa, who was extremely kind and transparent in explaining the changes under the new management. Everything she committed to was delivered without compromise. Subid deserves a mention too—he is very active in ensuring the property is spotless, and overall the staff here are courteous, helpful, and genuinely eager to serve. The property is centrally located in Calangute, making it convenient to explore the beaches, markets, and nearby attractions. The experience feels upgraded and far better than what the older reviews reflect. I can confidently say that the management transition has made a remarkable difference, and I would recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to North Goa.

Not just calangute...entire north goa is a hype in the social media. Terrible traffic and congested roads...you will waste most of your time travelling. Even 2km distance takes 30 o 40 mins . Very noisy beaches with filthy food and drinks overcharged and simply looting the tourists. Always check the price of the food and drinks in case you decide to eat something from the beach restaurants. Conclusion - south goa is the best and agoda fort/beach truly picturesque. Stay in south and just visit 1 or 2 beaches in the north preferably in the early hours (6 to 7am) and come back.

Calangute beach crowded during evening time with lot of music in the background from beach shacks, especially near the main entrance . If you prefer less crowd, then move away from main beach entrance by at least half a kilometre on the beach. The beach visit should be in your must visit place list. There's multiple options for food & drinks. If one feel about harsh sunlight, then suggest you to visit either early morning or late in the evening, to spent time in beach

Beaches are ok, should be taken care of cleaning time to time... Restaurant ls are good, food was amazing, specially Anthony & Britos, must try Fat Fish restaurant's Fish Thali🤤 Goa has become little expensive but Alcohol & food is still affordable.

You can even get 2 wheeler, 4 wheeler on rent vehicles from one of the guy who is just located outside Yashdip main gate. Usually charges 350 - 400 per day for 2 wheeler. The pool was attached to the Blue Rays group of hotels. The hotel is actually in 2 places, near to each other, though. Very convenient for the beach, couple of minutes walk. Staff were very helpful and supplied us with a fridge as we requested. Basic and simple room but very convenient for the beach and in the heart of Calangute.
