I booked a room at Collection O Kudasan, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad through Booking.com with high expectations. The photographs displayed on the website were highly impressive and influenced my decision to make the booking. Unfortunately, it was only later that I realized these images were misleading and that there appeared to be a clear misrepresentation between the website and the hotel management. For a stay of five days from 20/01/2026 to 25/01/2026, I paid a total amount of ₹8,550/-, which comes to ₹1,710/- per day. In return, I received extremely substandard and unacceptable services. The room was in a dilapidated condition, with torn pillow covers, a damaged TV with cut cable wires, a non-functional heater, and an unhygienic toilet. Throughout the entire five-day stay, no housekeeping staff cleaned my room even once. Only after repeated insistence was the bathroom towel changed on one day. When I requested hot drinking water, I was rudely informed that there was no room service available. This was the worst accommodation experience of my life. I requested a refund on the very first day itself, but was bluntly told that a refund was not possible. Due to the extremely dirty bed sheets provided, I was forced to spend an additional ₹1,500/- from my own pocket to purchase new bed sheets and a comforter for use during my stay. When I questioned why the actual condition of the room was completely different from what was shown on the website, I was told that the photos displayed were taken at the time the hotel was newly opened. This explanation is unacceptable and amounts to deliberate misrepresentation and cheating of customers.
