We stayed in the Hotel Sonar Bangla and its facilities were good, the staff members were helpful and courteous, the view from our room and the food were excellent. The wi-fi service was, however, very weak inside the room and our decision to carry with us our own portable wi-fi unit from Airtel proved wise. The boat ride on the Ichamati should be a "must" for all visiting Taki-Hasnabad. From our discussions with the hotel staff, we understood that a visit to Taki to watch the immersion ceremony after the Durga Puja would be an experience worth the trouble!Guest review byAmitabhaUnited States - 10.0

The scenic beauty of the riverside was just amazing specially during the sunrise and sunset. The restaurant food was very tasty and quite reasonable. Rooms are cosy but a bit unmaintained.
