Staying at Blue bell has been the best stay for us in kalimpong. Hotel was fantastic, well equipped with required amenities, hospitality was marvelous. Specially the owner Mr. Soumya was awesome. I would Personally suggest all if you prefer calm, quite atmosphere and prefer to enjoy me time, this is the best place to stay. My family loved it. As I visited kalingpong this time mainly for Adventure sports...both paragliding and Teesta white water rafting and had very little time to see the town once again. Very beautiful city you can experience local food, shopping is reasonable price. Market is good everything is available. One day I needed a doctor as my daughter was ill and we got a doctor easily. For drinkers foreign liquor is easily available from off shops. Traffic is high but each and everyone maintain traffic rules even police is also very supportive. I took a wrong U turn police stopped and asked me where I want to go. I politely replied and they showed me the way. They didn't fine me. They are co operative. We enjoyed the vibe of kalimpong. It’s quieter which is nice. The place we stayed made a huge difference. We had a good view from the property and we had amazing hosts that guides us well and arranged a good tour guide. I would highly recommend Kalimpong as a hill station, it is much less crowded and it gives very beautiful view of the mountains and valleys . There are some good old places which offers a nice different charm. 3 days for Kalimpong should be just right , there are some places nearby like Lava, Rishop, Teesta etc which could be combined together with Kalimpong trip.Guest review byRakeshIndia
