Everything. The location and the property. The property looked as if the proprietor had taken the comfort of the guests as a priority before it was designed. Specially: 1. The rooms have all the provisions to make us feel very comfortable and relaxed. 2. The staff was par excellence. The food was amazing and everyone handled hospitality so well. 3. Special mention for Shivam and Adrianna and also Nihal who sang so beautifully for us and made our dinner time so special. 4. The chef deserves a thanks for the wonderful food we had especially the Nepali cuisine. 5 . The property is a bird watchers paradise. It's restive and peaceful. 6. Kanchenjunga can be viewed from almost all the rooms on a clear day.

Amaira resort exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. The location was also good, far from traffic noise and with amazing views. What truly made our stay an exceptional experience was the staff. Ashish and Team are so welcoming and put so much passion into their work. We really enjoyed all the activities, from the morning walk to the evening barbeque by the bonfire. Thanks also to Rupak and Satyam for the great musical entertainment and kitchen staff for the amazing food. We will be back and very much hope that they keep the standard this high!

Donna and her family are a great host, and great cooks! Ghoom is a nice little town better to be in than Darjeeling which is not very far. Excellent breakfast and a great Tibetan meal!
