Shout out to Som and Sushila for taking the best care of us and Nikki for putting it all together and giving us great recommendations around the area and referrals for everything we needed or desired. Everything in the home is beautiful from the furniture to the book collection. The home itself and the staff were welcoming from moment 1, which was a very comforting feeling after traveling so long. The breakfasts each morning were amazing.

Mysore attractions are well maintained - Palace, Zoo, University Garden and Lake, Brindavan Gardens, Chamunda Temple are a must visit. I wish there were better explanations / directions at the Palace and Brindavan Gardens for Tourists. The Aquarium is a let down - if you've visited other aquariums. Can be avoided.

1. Palace - Make sure that you visit when the rush is low. When I had visited, there was so much rush that people were pushing each other. We could not enjoy the beauty of the palace.
2. Tala kadu - This has a good historical significance. Do visit in daytime
3. Barachukki falls - Very big and nice.
4. Chamundeshwari temple, Nandi and Mahishasura statue
5. Ranganathaswamy temple - Very good
6. World of mysore pak - The taste is heavenly good. Must visit.
7. Phelomina Church - Good architecture

Mysore is a busy city like Banglore.
Mysore is a busy city like Banglore. Food spots suggested by famous youtubers was not worthy. Taxi rates are costly always try to cheat you. Uber is better. Mysore Pakk from Guru sweets are best. Always call to bird sanctuary before you going, our boat trip was cancelled due to rain and we only know when we reached there. Palce was great, light show is too much ticket rate, it was nice but ticket rate is high to that. Overall a busy city with busy people.

We were there to visit the palace and take in the light show. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to see the palace but the lights around the palace and those in the streets were spectacular.

Definitely this is one of the best hotels of mysore.. First of all it has an excellent location in the center of mysore city. Secondly thought it is a good hotel yet rooms are available at reasonable rates.. Thirdly it has a classy ambience with clean and spacious rooms .. The staffs are really cooperative ... Also the hotel has a great restaurant, large parking space

I booked this hotel by seeing very good reviews but this was pathetic . Room had dust smell . AC had no cooling ( 2nd day they shifted me to another room). Parking was bit difficult ( small gully road ) .
I found hotel or booking.com themselves crated good review on my behalf, now I changed it my own .. do not recommend this hotel .
