While the fort is conveniently situated from Delhi/NCR, the rooms and service do not justify the high price. Little things such as a tube of toothpaste had to be asked for in a premium room. Rooms that cost Rs 5,000 have no view, and the room type varies drastically in a particular price range.
We stayed there from 23 June to 25 June 2017, and lunchtime was unnecessarily crowded because the hotel is open to day travellers as well. While doing so is the hotel's prerogative, they should calculate and understand the current guest occupancy before opening the buffet and fort up to other people.
It was a long weekend, and the staff told us that they were running at an almost 100% capacity; however, there were too many people allowed for lunch. While the staff is courteous and efficient, they are only human to be able to handle so many guests.
The food is average for the high price tag it comes with, and the "activities" are passable. Still, this place is a convenient drive away, and if you find a good traiff deal during a non-rushed weekend, you could have fun!
