Very nice place to stay, must visit buddha park. If you are lucky enough then can get excellent view of Kanchenjunga. Must visit Restaurants Kookai at Ravangka Market place just opposite Hotel Reggal, Taxi stand.

Try to stay away from the bazar area if you want to feel the serenity of the place. This place has many cute dogs and very serene roads, hardly interrupted by tourist vehicles. So one of for the memory lane :)

The host was nice to us. View and food was good. The stay was horrible. Heater does not work well. Takers forever for the water to heat up. The pillow cover, blankets and towels were dirty. The staffs/ owners were not very cooperative.

I have been to Ravangla a few times in the past but never stayed there. This time I spent 2 days there and stayed at Hotel Chulyang. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Away from all the noise but not far from the center. One can easily visit Tathagatasthal (Buddha Park), Ralong Monastery, Temi Tea Garden etc. The mountain facing rooms are superb. If the weather is clear you can see the entire range along with Kanchenjangha as well as Ravangla town from the room itself. There are plenty of birds which is an added delight. I suggest mountain view rooms of top two floors. Rooms and toilets are specious. Everything is neat and clean. The food is very nice and the prices very reasonable. Room service is prompt. Entire staff are quite young, courteous, efficient and always with a smiling face. Only point of discord was while booking I saw breakfast was included but actually it was not. Booking.com should look into the matter.

A quaint little town which is a great place to relax and walk around. April-June would offer wonderful views of the clouds which play around, are above and below, goes away, comes back any time. Winter would offer nice view of the Kanchenjunga. Didnt know that NIT is situated here. Ravangla has a few monasteries worth visit. Staying close to town center would give good access to restaurants, staying a little away would entail taking taxis from town center or walking a couple of kms. Kookay restaurant near the taxi stand offers awesome local food - momos/soups/thukpa.

Nature came with full abundance at this place. Stay at a resort (would recommend away from the Ravangla main market, just as we stayed in Hilltop Rabong Resort - 4 kms before the main market), enjoy good food and nature at the best.
